just wondered I have downloaded Microsoft.Windows.Mobile.v6.0-OTG from torrent, and wondered I have an unlocked Orbit, will this work?

i would say do not try it, but if you read the forum, you will find there is no WM6 for this device yet, you couold try and install it, but you would find out the very hard way that this isnt the correct rom for your device.

until you can unlock your device, then get hold of an official rom update from your own or another provider, then stick with WM5, at least you know it works..

Most GPS Software currently will not work with WM6.

Also your phone cannot be CID or SIM unlocked yet, I would hold off my friend or you could brick your phone !

I wouldn't trust anything from a torrent especially something that can turn your phone into a brick.

I remember the KaZaA days when a few of us would zip Windows 95 name it to the latest thing everybody was looking for :D

Yep 100% and the rate with which our forum members are bricking their devices we shall soon overtake the guys in the wizard section for bricked devices.

will there be one for the o2 xda orbit cause i just want any even wm5 as long as it works and it comes soon... wm6 will be a long way away.

Hello everybody, O2 Germany told in the homepage that there will be an update to wm 6 in the next days. Here is the link:
