SINGAPORE, 3rd May 2007 – Dopod International (Singapore) Pte Ltd, a leading PDA phone and Smartphone provider, today announced its support for existing users of 838Pro, D810, P800W and the recently launched U1000 to migrate from the Windows Mobile 5 operating system to an improved platform, Windows Mobile 6. This can be done for free and is applicable to all current owners of these devices.
From July 2007, Dopod International will offer current users of these devices a free download of the upgrade code which will enable users of these devices, currently running on Windows Mobile 5, to upgrade to the Windows Mobile 6.

“This upgrade from Windows Mobile 5 to Windows Mobile 6 will enable our users of 838Pro, D810, P800W and U1000 to enjoy improved usability, and for our business users to better manage their business information which is based on Microsoft Exchange Server 2007. This will also allow our customers to continue to stay connected through our innovative and powerful products,” said Jack Tong, CEO of Dopod International Corp.
