Hello,
I'd like to introduce small tool which I designed for Wizard overlocking.
It is used for changing Wizard processor speed directly from PC via ActiveSync connection. It uses great OmapClock.exe for overlocking.

With this tool it is possible to change speed permanently and temporally.
Permanently means, that after SoftReset processor speed will be still overlocked,
Temporally means, that after SoftReset processor speed will be restored to default 195[MHz] - useful while testing high speeds :)
In both cases return from suspend mode keeps new (overlocked) speed.

Exe file contains all required tools (OmapClock.exe).

Originally tool was designed in polish, so sorry for eventually mistakes in translation ;)

I hope it can be useful for You ;)

How do I know, this tool really worked.. I did a device info.. still i see the clock speed as 195mhz even after installing and fine tunning.

Are you not re-inventing the wheel ? Battery Status does exactly the same thing whithout the need for a PC plus it is a standard inclusion on most of the cooked ROM's.

Come on now, how can using software to speed up the processor change the wording in device info? This is done by the mfg. The mfg. doesn't know if you're going to speed up your processor, only your device knows. The only way to tell if it's working is if you notice a change in the performance of your device like faster operation of the device. You can also tweak the registry for faster operation.

What was being installed when you got this message? Where was it being installed to?

Batt status has application overclocking which is great.
Phone and Camera need to stay at 195mhz. Over clocking overall system could eventually lead to some problems like glitches and being unstable resorting to frequent soft resets....
