Want WM6, but non of you Rom's work?

Why is it that no matter witch version of the WM6 rom i download.. My XP wont launch the upgrade...

I get a: "Can not initialize program (0x0000135) Clik OK to finish program"

And this is no matter what, and where I download it from..

What am i doing wrong?

Do you have Microsoft .Net Version 2 framework installed?

You NEED to have it installed for the updater to work. Version 3 of the .Net framework should be ok too.

Got a firewall program running? Try disableing it.

First, Is your copy of Windows XP legit? If your copy is you should be able to run MS windows update. You should get the option of install .NET framework from MS windows update.

Its a set of code that many developers (including the ones who wrote the ROM install utility) use.
