View Full Version : Black 3.0.1 - small problems

Installed Black 3.x this evening and everything went fine.

However, I have a couple of small problems.

1. I can't activate ClearType - it's greyed-out in settings.

2. My Today screen does not update when I add/remove items via Settings. I have to do a soft reset to get it to change.

Black 2.5 did not have either of these issues.

Is anyone else having similar problems or is it something funny on my installation?

Why are you starting a new thread? There is a thread for Black 3, and that is where your post belongs.

1. Is your device landscape when you try to do this? Try it in portrait ;)

Thanks Phil. I'm not sure if that was the problem or not since it worked fine after I switched off and on. Everything fine now.

JasonR - Rule #19334B of the Internet states that you must not mix topics on a single thread. The Black thread you are referring to is about download and installation. My query is about a post-installation problem.

I did have the same problems that you explain. However, after a couple of SRs everything is now fine.

I had the clear type problem until after I did a soft reset and everything was fine. I really don't like using ClearType anyways so I wasn't to concerned. As far as the today screen goes your guess is as a good as mine! lol I would probably just do a fresh install of the rom and see how things go...
