Oh oui j'ai essayer les 2 rom en WM6! juste 1 chose a savoir, le carnet d'adresse entre la version WM5 et WM6 est différente ( niveau structure), je l'es appris a mes dépend, mais si tu avais sauvegardé via 1 synchro avec outlook, pas de pb, le Trinity, récupere bien ton carnet d'adresse.

tous fonctionne meme Tomtom 6.03 / iGo:D


ps: j'ai essayer presque toute les ROM disponible sur XDA, pour le p 3600, je suis en mode super CID! et mon pda est 1 full HTC
Sinon en anglais, ca me dérange pas trop!

je suis passé par toutes les versions, et je trouve que la version SE de mUn est la plus stable. par contre tjrs des problemes de Voip. alors si y'en a qui ont trouvé le moyen, faites moi signe. surtout pr le ipdialplan

Pour la VOIP, je crois que le problème c'est la négociation du codec, il faudrait pouvoir forcer l'utilisation d'un certain codec (compatible free pour moi) afin d'avoir quelquechose de fonctionnel mais je ne sais pas du tout comment faire.. :(

En effet, je n'avais pas vu qu'il s'agissait de la SE WM6. Pour ma part, je reste en WM5 car j'utilise Sbp +, Spb Diary et SPB Phone tools et il semble que ça ne fonctionne pas.

A part cela, comme tu me dis que VoIP n'est pas top, je ne vois pas rééllement l'avantage de passer en WM6.

Tu trouves la version Mun, meilleure que celle de LVSW ?

Faut t'il que je fasse une modification de mon SPV M700 avant de me lancer sur l'installation ?

car en faites , j'ai télécharger la ROM, je l'ai extrait et maintenant , je me retrouve avec plein de fichiers . Dois-je en mettre sur le ppc avant de lancer l'installation de la ROM ?

Tu as en effet plusieurs fichiers qui te serviront à flasher ton SPV. Toutefois, ta garantie saute !!!

Tu risque d'avoir un petit soucis lors de ton flash, en fait, tu dois le faire deux fois, la première fois, ton SPV va booter, la seconde fois tu vas pouvoir le flasher réèllment. Il n'y a rien de spécial à faire mais tous les fichiers sont importants.

Bon, je livre ma petite expérience... J'ai flashé mon mobile avec les différentes versions LSVW et mUn. Les deux sont stables et performantes. Actuellement je tourne avec celle de mUn parceque je voulais voir à quoi ressemblait Office 2007 > Je n'ai rien vu qui me fasse tomber par terre ;)

Par contre, je vois que tu utilises les plugin SPB... j'ai arrêté de les installer car ils freezent le mobile en mode veille dès qu'ils se mettent à jour (météo). C'est dommage, mais a priori WM6 est mal supporté. Pour le VOIP, je ne l'utilise pas donc difficile à dire.

Enfin, si tu as besoin d'un coup de main, je veux bien apporter ma contribution (traduction, design - je me défends plutôt bien :D -) afin de personnaliser les splash screen à la sauce grenouille. Et si j'ai une petite reco, les keyboard en 3D et colorés, c'est vraiment super pratique... Ils y sont dans la version mUn, mais pas LSW.

Rien de plus simple, tu décompresses le fichier rar ou zip je ne sais plus et tu lances le fichier executable, c'est tout.

Une fois ta ROM à jour, tu peux tout supprimer.

Sorry for this, this post has started in french because in fact, it's about transalting the ROM in french. As you may know, in france, english is not so used as in germany or other countries, because french is spoken in lot parts of the world, so you are comparing two languages that are very used in the world. But I understand your point. :)

The purpose here is to know how we can help to translate the ROM, we have also a discussion on how to upgrade a SPV for a novice how seems not to understand english.

you're right french people are the first to switch to their native languages as soon as they can.
I'm french too, and you know that (sad but true) foreign languages aren't spoken very well in France (like me for instance ;) ), other countries like yours handle much better the english language. It seems to be a screwed in our culture, but changing slowly.
So sory for this.
Anyway JeRoMe_aKa_JaY has done a good summary of the various posts. Sorry but no information concerning translation method.

my point of view : i tried all the WM6 Roms present here ... all this to ... back to my ship rom in WM5 ...

why ? no perfect support of VoIP (Free) and without VoIP , i don't see the advantage to WM6 and there are these real problems of Battery Life .. in WM5 i can stay 4 days without charging

btw , for french people "under" SFR , i made a dump of the OS part so after test the WM6 roms , i come back to the SFR ship one (and for reminder SFR today has released NO rom)

i can also made a rom which contains only the extrom (with tomtom inside) ou another rom with the OS part , the extrom and the last radio (1.41)

for the "experts" : i still can't dump the original splascreen SFR

someone could help me ? with that i can make a "complete" rom for the S300+

J'ai flashé mon tel il y a quelques jours. Tout fonctionne de manière impéccable (bluetooth,wifi....). Mes programmes fonctionnent tous bien (pocket plus, spb phone suite(je le recommande je l'adore),pocket plus....)

I don't realy understand, you dumped the original SFR rom and you released it somewhere ?

I have upgraded my S300+/P3600 and if I have hardware problem with it, I'd like to bring it back... so if you please can upload it somewhere, it would be great.

For Ext:
all you need is a S300+ with original rom, unlock ext (topics on XDA or trinity hacks), copy it to your PC, you will have an ext rom that you can copy whenever you want, so no issues with the warranty.

AFAIK the Orange Livebox is using H323 and not SIP for VoIP.

I don't know if WM6 support the H323 protocol, and/or if it is possible to use Orange VoIP with SIP...

Correct me if I'm wrong, as I don't have enough time to check this information.

I'm 100% sure that SIP is supported (in France it's used by Free, Neuf and others) but i'm not sure that Orange is using SIP.
If I'm not wrong Orange is using H323 which is a not compatible with SIP afaik.

Even if your FAI is wanadoo - get a SIP account with VoIPBUSTER VoIPDISCOUNT - wengo.fr or someone like that - the two work well together.

so, i ve follow your advices and i ve upgrade to wm6 quite nice n smooth running ,seems faster.
The main reason why i ve upgrade is for the voip use.
So i ev created an acount with voipdiscount, download the little prog for conf the sip, and i got it running cause on today plugin it says "voip in use,or available" that proove it connect to the voipdiscount server .
But ,when i dial (under state in use) i have no ring tone,i hear nothing and after a while the phone is set to connected :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:
i got that result after have change the rtc dll cause before that i couldn t make a call, it was always rejected.
If you think you can give me a clue for fix that prob, i ll deeply appreciate your help.

Pour ceux qui ceux se retrouve avec un mauvais flashage:

maintenir le bouton de power et celui de l'appareil photo en meme temps et faire un soft reset avec le stylet(appuyez avec le stylet dans le trou sous le ppc en maintenant les deux boutons).

Vous entrez dans le bootloader (page en trois couleurs).

ensuite vous connectez le ppc avec le cable usb et vous relancez la mise à jour, pendant que cela se fait ne lancez aucune autres applications, ne rien faire sur le pc et ne deconnectez pas l'usb avant que le ppc reboot.

Si ca ne fonctionne pas normalement après ca,

remettre une rom officielle, ensuite relancer la mise a jour de la B2.

For those who have a badflash:

maintain the power and camera buttons at the same time and make a software reset with the stylet (Push with the stylet in the hole under PPC by maintaining the two buttons).

you will enter the bootloader (page with three colors).

then you connect pocket PC with the cable usb and make again the update, while that is made you especially open no programs, you do anything on the PC, and you don't disconnect usb before the ppc reboot.

If that does not function normally after that.

Put an OFFICIAL rom, then make again the update with B2.

I installed it yesterday for the first time.
I have two issues:
1)Excel mobile didn't success to save or read files.
2) image browser display images but not videos on my memory card. And when selecting memory card as default save place, the files does
n't go to the "mes images" folder.

Hi, I succesfuly install the beta 2 release and don't have much trouble.
That's true that the battery go very fast but it's still ok for me.
My biggest problem is with VISTO for receiving my mail in 3G. The soft don't work on this release and i really need it.

I detected an other issue :
When I press the button of my Bluetooth headset, it didn't launch the voice commander tool. :confused:
(but If I press a long time, it call the last called entry : that OK :) )

J'ai un problème avec mon oreillette bluetooth.
Lorsque j'appuie juste un coup, cela ne lance pas l'utilitaire de commande vocale. :confused:

J'ai d'ailleurs mis Voice Speed Dial (avec backup) au lieu du Voice Commander qui est mis par défaut.

I have noticed a little problem here and there :

Dictionnary doesn't show anything when writting stuff and also, when you write an sms, in the number field you should be able to write a name and it would show you the possiblities (like the dictionnary kinda) it doesn't and you have to go in the contact manager to manually select your contact, not really big bugs but still ;)

By the way, does anyone know how to access the operators portal like vodaphone and stuff ? And also TV with 3G ?

It's the same as for russian people.
we have ',' in digits instead of '.' like on WWE version
that's why if you save your digits like "1,5" your file wont open in future.

I didn't success to make VPN access working.

3) mon oreillette bluetooth ne pilote pas Voice Commander malgrès la version avec le fix (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1282191&postcount=28) qui devrait résoudre le problème.

- Bluetooth problem with handset bluetooth (Supertooth), before when i switch on my handset the phone detect it, but now i must switch on my handset and pull the green buton on my handset.
Before when my handset was ok with HTC P3600 i can use the green button on my handset for call someone with voice command after handset beep. Now when i push the green bottom there are nothing.

- Same problem too another people with Excel.

- For SIP i have problem too, but i never read the other message about how configure SIP with WM6, so i tell u later.

I have freephonie too. You have to install sip config tools 2.1 and then you have to set up your account. You don't have to use the seting of comm manager just use sip config tools.

You will see that when you are connected to a wifi network, you'll be able to phone with your sip account. It works for me :D

Ok i say it's ok in my other message with config tools. Freephonie work i can call other phone i hear and my correspondant hear me. So all are good. And today windows is OK "Free Disponible" or "Free selectionné"

But why there are this option in comm manager ?

Other question, there are no cab for change sound through internal speaker instead external speaker ?

L'histoire de mon kit main libre (Supertooth) n'est pas réglé, pour que le PDA le voit je suis obligé de l'allumer et d'appuyer sur la touche décroché de mon kit main libre alors qu'avant je n'avais qu'à l'allumer, mais bon... c'est vrai que ce n'est pas grand chose. Pour info j'avais la version ROM SFR S300+

Pour le SIP doit t'on utiliser configtools ? Est t'il intégré ou faut t'il le charger separement ? Est ce qu'il est possible d'appeler son répondeur Free (**1) ?
Sinon est ce qu'il existe des paramétrages tout fait top de top pour Freephonie ?

En tout cas pour le moment aucun bug détecté, je vais reparamétrer le WAP et MMS demain et réinstaller différents logiciels, je vous tiens informé des problémes s'il y en a, mais je suis confiant.

Pour Excel le probleme est effectivement réglé. Pour les étiquettes vocales idem, on revient à un systéme plus adapté pour nous les frenchies.

Bref que du bonheur !

Just an update from my last post.

Bluetooth is fixed for me, I don't have notice any bug, just one thing, some today themes are not working, the background image is different from what I had on previous ROM. I don't know why but it's not an important issue.

- A un moment donné, tu arrives sur un écran dans lequel tu doit cliquer sur le bouton "Update". A ce moment là, ton téléphone passe en mode bootlaoder (ecran avec 3 couleurs).

Deux possibilités, soit le flash commence et tu attends sans rien toucher jusqu'a ce que le prog te dise que le flash est fini (100%), soit le programme te met un message d'erreure te disant qu'il ne trouve pas le téléphone.

Aliced, try to make a hardreset (parametres/effacer le stockage) and if that don't work after, try to falsh again the 2.2. that the only thing to do. i've not the problem in mine.

keyboard, it's not a bug, i simply didn't have time to change all keys so i only change the four keyboards (minuscules, majuscules, and the same for big keys) but i didn't change the others "òûÜ..." nobody use that.

I install the FR 2.2 version of WM6 but infortunately GPS doesn't work. Is it disable on this version. Hoow can I unable it?

Hum... I have no problem with the GPS...

I still have some bugs, nothing annoying, but still worth to be mentionned :
- "windows" button not working, except with WAD, it pops up WAD's menu then...
- Spb Mobile Shell > "auto-hide" function not working for tab system on today (in integration with WAD)


Quelques p'tits bugs que je suis peut être le seul à avoir :

- le bouton "windows" ne fait pas apparaitre le menu démarrer, sauf quand WAD est activé.
- Impossible d'avoir la fonction "auto-hide" pour les onglets de Spb Mobile Shell

Good joob FAMAN :) for this new ROM witch is working better than the previous one.
- Excel : OK
- Bluetooth headset : OK
- VPN access : OK
Will see in the futur now...


Bravo FAMAN pour cette ROM qui fonctionne beaucoup mieux que la précédente.

A voir dans le temps à présent.

Par contre, j'ai eu du mal à flasher. J'ai du repasser sur la dernière ROM Orange et après cela, le flashage s'est bien déroulé.

Personne n'a le soucis de completion automatique des contacts (Dans le champ A: lors de l'ecriture d'un SMS ou MMS)?

Et après avoir installé le cab french input, je n'ai toujours aucuns mots de suggérés :(

2- La saisie automatique ne fonctionne pas (aucun mot suggéré)

3- Le clavier AZERTY est buggé : lorsque je tape sur "ô" j'obtiens "ó"

Au cas où je te rappelle que la langue officielle de ce forum est l'anglais ...

Contacts fonctionne très bien chez moi et tu es seul à avoir ce problème
Si tu as un problème avec le clavier reste sur une ROM anglaise

Je te remercie de ne pas dénigrer le travail de Faman en disant "j'attends une bonne rom" genre celle-là c'est de la m....

Si tu veux une rom parfaite, attend l'officielle, merci

first, remember this forum is an english spoken one ...

Contacts work fine on my device and it seems you are the only one with this issue.
If you have a problem with french keyboard, stay on an english rom.

Thanks to respect Faman work, saying something like "I'm waiting for a good french rom" involve "This one sucks"

First: I'm not the only one who see this bug:

C'est un bug sans en etre un, il n'y a pas ecrit contact mais si vous cliquez dessus ça fonctionne.
Ce "bug" était déja présent sur la version précédente.

Secund: I know this ROM is a beta version and so, not perfect. The original LVSW ROM is very good and without any bug.
So, actualy, I prefer keep the WWE LVSW ROM (with keyboard AZERTY and French dictionnary).

Third and conclusion: FAMAN has released a very good ROM but I'm tired to flash my Trinity again and again...and to see bugs and bugs and others bugs :mad:

The 2.0.1.1 LVSW ROM is the first ROM WM6 without any bugs :)

I hope FAMAN will correct his ROM.
