Dialing problem in WM6 from today screen

i got a strange device with WM6 on it. however whenever i have to dial from today screen the first is digit and the next are alphabet. i have to hold the shift key to enter other digits of the phone no. to be dialed.

i know this problem can be solved by a simple regedit but i dunno which regkey to hit on.

The phone has a touchscreen too so i guess its WM6 professional.

Looks like JAQ4 from imate..where did u get this?

Just press Start->Settings->Device Information->Hardware

and you should be able to see the device model no. under Identity tab..

I got this phone and some other strange ones from a company in china. they say they get there phone manufactured from imate factory. and there is no logo of company anywhere on device nor any Device Information icon in settings.
