Edge support

I am a new user of the o2 Orbit device. Is there anyone can confirm this device support Edge? My service provider here in HK supports Edge, and I can confirm the SIM works properly as I was able to connect to internet via Edge in my old phone. However when the same SIM is used in the Orbit I never see the "E" icon appear on the top bar. I only see the "G" icon which means GPRS. The other "phone" functions work perfectly with this SIM, ie I can call others and receive phone calls so I believe mine is a SIM unlocked phone.

My device has EDGE. No problems... But EDGE is not very popular, right now.
If i drive from home to my office, I won't habe EDGE...

Thanks Realflo. The carrier I am using now is the only one providing EDGE. The coverage is very good. My old device support EDGE and I never been warned out of EDGE coverage. But with the new o2 Orbit I never see the "E" icon. I don't know if there is something like "partial SIM lock". I hope not.
