Hi everyone.
I've just phoned HTC support because my device has a defective touch screen (if I tap firmly on the screen the "mouse" moves quickly up and down preventing the "tap and hold" and making difficult to scroll bars)
They said I must take my phone to a service point here in Italy to fix it (maybe they'll replace it) but they asked me if my problem has to be repaired as soon as possible or I can wait two weeks till now.
I asked the reason and they said "HTC is sending to all hardware labs the new WM6 images and all phones sent for repair are returned with this upgrade installed for free. We don't know if the lab in wich you take your device already has the WM images so you should wait 2 weeks to be sure to have WM6"..
So..They'll flash a new firmware on my phone!!!Now..I have a totally tweaked device and they'll see for sure it has a new IPL/SPL entering the bootloader..I extracted the ITA rom from my device before upgrading to wm6 (and someone made the flash-able version that can be actually downloaded from the wiki) but..
I can't simply downgrade the rom.. I need to recid the device, downgrade IPL, SPL and radio to the original version (italian HTC model didn't receive ANY upgrade since the start).
I don't remember the software versions I had (I think IPL 1.00, SPL 1.04 and radio 1.03) and I don't know where to take the old versions (I can actually strip them from ruu_hermes_1.18.255.3_1.18.255.108_1.03.03.10_qtek _wwe_ship it should has those versions).
So..I could downgrade IPL, SPL (with sequential stages), and rom (what about extrom??).
But if I'm not wrong I can't downgrade radio to 1.03 because my actual radio has HTC_BOOT=108.
Please help me. :(
