The USB port on my MDA broke and i got my replacment. Can i use the backup from my new mda and restore it on my old mda.
Backed up using this. Number 13

It should work. I am not sure if your new device is SIM and CID locked. If yes: I would take care about that first!
Regarding to the thread you're pointing to you only backed up your factory ROM to SD card without any personal information. I wonder what is so important on there that you need it back?

I am running WM6 on the old one, and the USB port broke. I have to send it back to tmo. I dont want to pay 100 bucks cuz i put wm6 on it.
