Hello,

I'm a Qtek S100 (Spanish) owner and I have a big problem:

When I try to sync my Qtek by GPRS there aren't any problem. I finish the connection holding the red button. After, when I try to sync other time, it isn't possible, it show an error and the only way to do it is turn off the phone and trun on.

Does anybody have a solution? It's actually comfortless.

Thanks a lot,

Josep

Hi, this sounds like its the callerID conflict problem.
Basically later versions than 1.20 had a conflict with GPRS resulting in failure to connect more than once without reseting the phone.
The fix was to replace the callerID with version 1.20.
I have attached this version & instructions below, this version is WWE (world wide english)
Check the BlueAngel forum for more threads on this.
This solution cured my S100 100%

Thanks Mr. B,

I have a question. I have watched the "About..." Caller ID program and it has shown me:

Caller ID for Pocket PC
Version 1.20 (Build 18586)
High Tech Computer Corp.

Are you talking about this program?

If I have this version, I have another problem.

Bye,

Josep

This is the program, but the version in my post is Build 17957
I would say its your problem for sure.
Do a backup before you try it to be on the safe side.
O2 & Imate removed CallerID from its ROMs because of these problems but this early build seems to be conflict free.

Thanks a lot Mister B,

This was the problem. I proceded as your information and the problem was corrected.

I'm going to test it two or three days and I'm going to post the "report" after the test.

Bet regards,

Josep
