Sorry I don't include operator settings in my ROM, so I don't customize user agent for Orange SPV M3100, you should use a cab for operator settings.

It would be nice if some people could test settings for the different french operators, and we could post working cabs for operator settings here.

The comm manager sometimes goes all crazy and wont let me go back to today screen solution : soft reset

the windows mobile cab seems to be incomplete since the today plugin doesn't show the mail option.

the dialpad is really REALLY old and could use some updates,

BT issues even thought my other tytn might be the problem :o

when i soft reset it sometimes freezes on the first splash scrren solution : HARD RESET (and god it hurts)

I am using this ROM since about a week and I didn't have any of the issues you mentionned, I even didn't find how to reproduce them!

The Windows Mobile cab is complete and works very well, I am using Windows Live Mail, you should have bad settings.

The dialpad is the original, I've never seen a newer dialpad or maybe there were only customized. Where is this really new dialpad?

Some of your pb seem connected to radio, are you using the lastest radio I recommanded?

Yes it's only a graphical bug, certainly sth I missed in dialpad, I will try to solve it.
On this ROM SIM contacts are visible by default, if you want to hide them you just have to change this registry key value :
HKCU\ControlPanel\Phone\ShowSIM=0

The keyboard backlight works well for me, did you test in the dark? (backlight sensor is on) did you try to change values in backlight settings to see if it solves your problem?

Concerning the accent shortcut key, I'm nearly sure that it could be solved easily, and for the "wake up" problem I think that the hardest is to find the source of the problem... For me it happened only one time in a week, did it happen frequently for you?
Other testers can also report the frequency and the circumstances if it also happens to them.

If you wish to install WM6 for your HTC Wizard, take a look at the Wizard Mobile 6 thread, but I don't know if someone already released a french version of WM6.

I think I had the same problem (can't wake up from sleep mode, need to soft-reset) with the lastest LVSW which came with the new X-button 1.5. The first days I tested my ROM it didn't have X-button 1.5 and I didn't have this bug. So maybe you could be right, but I don't know how it can cause this annoying bug, I thought more about a driver problem... Did you have Bluetooth On when it happened?
Did someone already heard about this problem with other ROMs? I think that it's the most important problem to solve for this ROM, and I would really appreciate if someone could help me to solve it (that's not easy to do as I'm not able to reproduce this bug!).

I used it during a week now, the battery life time is pretty good (I think better than many other ROMs I tried before). Have you installed apps which uses a lot of resources on it? Have you checked CPU usage to look if there is sth wrong? If anyone else has the same pb with battery, please report it.

Strange, in general I have about 70-80% after one day and this last week I used it a lot!
But I don't have any software installed excepted SPB Mobile Shell.

This ROM has some reported bugs, some not annoying, some more grave but happening rarely and randomly, but don't worry I expected kind of issues. This is my first ROM and I started it from scratch, so it couldn't be perfect at the first time!
I am working this week-end on a new version, solving most of mentionned problems, it will also come with new home-made versions of OEM drivers and apps. I designed new "Vista style" icons which suit really better with the other WM6 icons, take a look at this:

I solved most of the problems, but I'm stuck on the two most annoying problems (freeze during sleep mode and battery drain) as I don't have those bugs or I'm not able to reproduce on my phone!

The most "chiant" has been solved :) also words and contacts autocompletion works now, it will be fixed in the next ROM version which should be released during this week-end if all goes alright!

Did you try to install pocketzenphone on other ROMs from the same build to see if you have the same problem?

For people who think that battery drains faster, you should know that HSDPA is enable by default on my ROM so it can influence your battery life, depending on your usage. If you don't need, you can easily disable HSDPA.

I think that MS VoiceCommand 1.5 is not compatible with WM6, you need version 1.6 to make it working.

Now, i didn't try PZP on another WM6 rom, it seems to work fine now .
For MS VC, i'll download the trying version of VC 1.6 .

I saw that the athena rom contains a prog to connect a printer , it might be nice to have it on our Tytn (i never did succed to connect to my HP460 via BT). i made a post on the athena thread , but no answer.

You can also increase the battery life with the registry tweak posted on the wiki.

HSDPA means 3G+ (downloading improvement of 3G, I noticed substancial changes with HSDPA compared to 3G).

Hey guys, I updated my ROM yesterday but I didn't install anything on it excepted my operator cab settings, and now after 15 hours I still have my battery at 100% with an active 3G connection :eek: so I don't think that my ROM can cause troubles with battery as I'm using exactly the same drivers as the lastest WM6 ROMs. As for lastest Black and LVSW ROMs, this ROM is based on a new kernel version, so it means that there can be compatibility issues with some programs.

This problem is generic to the lastest ROMS, not only mine, I remember that I had also the same problem when I tried LVSW ROM. I have a feeling that ActiveSync automatic schedule/Push mail is the cause of the problem, I tried to set schedule in manual mode and since I didn't have the problem anymore.

I would like to get comments from people who had the problem. Which radio version are you using? Are you using a microSD card? Did you have bluetooth on when it happened? Did you have an active 3G connection? Are you using Push mail or configured your mobile to check new mails every XX minutes?

I was thinking for the next ROM version about an utility for tweaking your phone like does HTweakC, or JJ & LVSW programs.
It could be useful to tweak the registry, and some functionalities of the phone (like enable/disable Edge/3G/HSDPA), I could also include a SIP configurator for Internet calling...
If you have some ideas of useful functionalities to include in my program, don't hesitate to tell me!

Did you try if it works with lastest Black & LVSW ROMs?

With LVSW 3.30.0.8 and with Custel 1.3, it works after many settings but I have not try with Black.
I think it is a problem of settings but I don't find :(

Did you check if your server configuration is selected?
Menu MMS > Outils > Options > Comptes > MMS > Serveurs
I'm using the same base as Black 3.0.1 & LVSW 3.30.0.9, and the problem seems related to those versions (I didn't try other ROMs).

Did you try to set your MMS connection as default connection or to set always on mode ? (you can do it using registry or HTweakC)

Try Paramètres > Connexions > Avancé > Sélectionner réseaux > Les programmes se connectant à Internet doivent utiliser : Orange MMS
If there is still nothing install HTweakC to set your Orange MMS connection in always on mode.

This will force your device to use your MMS connection and to let it connected and other connections won't interfer.

I don't think that your radio ROM causes this trouble, to be reassured try to access Wap and look if it works.

Because I have rarely "3G" in the upper bar, but "E"...
The radio ROM can have effect on the way of connecting to cells, some radio version offer better signal, some are more sensitive, so this can be caused by the radio ROM. But I don't think that it can be linked with your MMS problem, excepted if your phone is continuously switching between 2.5G and 3G (and it use more your battery).
I installed the lastest radio ROM and I think it's the best from all I tried, I had bad signal strengh and difficulties to get 3G with some previous, with this one I get 3G connection most of the time when I'm at home, I get even HSDPA!

Even if VOIP is fully fonctionnal in my ROM, the VOIP button in Comm Manager has no effect. For now nobody managed to make it working, maybe there are some unknown missing files related to this functionnality, or VOIP button is not totally implemented yet in this version of Comm Manager. I will look at this later.

"Envoyer" stands for file exchanging services over IrDA and Bluetooth, you can turn it off if you don't need.
"Connexion de données" stands for GPRS/3G/HSDPA data connection, pushing this button will close the active data connection, but if you want to close your connection permanently you must be sure that your connection is not in always mode on (look in HTweakC) and that no application need this connection.
An always active connection use much more battery than Bluetooth or IrDA, it's even worth in 3G! If you want to save power and you don't need a 3G connection, or have problems switching between Edge/3G, you can force your mobile to use Edge (Paramètres > Téléphonie > Bande > Réseau GSM).

The VoIP feature is totally implemented in my ROM (you can see on my first screenshots that I'm connected to Freephonie), only it doesn't work in Comm Manager (Comm Manager is not part of Windows Mobile 6, it's an OEM program).
To have it working you need first to register your SIP account setting by creating manually a provisionning cab (it was explained in the "Development and hacking" section of this forum.
To make things easier, I am programming an app to directly modify your SIP configuration for Internet telephony, it will come soon with the new version of my ROM. :)

For those who has some troubles with this file & FREEPHONIE REGISTRATION: It seems you don't have to place 'sip:' before proxy & registar adresses, as used to be in some PC softphones, but you have to place ':5060' at the end of them

ex for proxy adress: '<sipsrv addr='freephonie.net:5060' protocol='UDP' role='proxy'>'

In "Sélectionner des réseaux" select "Mon FAI" in the first list.
E (EDGE) appears when you are connected to the GSM network, 3G appears when you are connected to the UMTS network. In France GPRS/EDGE coverage is better than 3G, so that's normal you have better reception with EDGE because you are certainly connected to a cell nearer from you.

For the network type, if you choose "Auto" your phone will switch to 3G if it is available.
The band depends on your operator, if you choose "Auto" it will automatically detect the band, and there is no reason to change it!

For me it was working using the original dialplan and composing numbers like 00 33 X XX XX XX XX, but I had to try several times because I got "call ended" and after 2-3 attempts it worked.

In a way, you're right: Phone numbers appears as US ones: (XXX) XXX-XXX
But it doesn't matter -> even with us format (as default), calls pass trough :)

I didn't try with international format (+XX...) but worked well with "standard formats"...

Anyway it works well without edit ipdialplan.xml...

Hard to say for now... Im using the WM6 VOIP settings for just some hours now...

It seems to be very unstable on some hotspots (network not found, even if VOIP setting are sets on "registred")... But for my part, I've tried without the BDR modification and it didn't work... I'll do more tests tomorrow and tell you what this BDR modification does (or doesn't) exactly...

As only french people seem to be interested in this ROM, I am thinking about moving on a french website (you won't have to write in english anymore! :p ) and let a thread here for technical discussion. For now I don't have any idea of where it will be, if I will create a new community website or if I will release my future ROMs on a serious and well-known website... I don't know so good similar french community websites as I spend all my time here! So if I could have some suggestions I'm interested! ;)

How could I write a HOW TO to explain the translation work I am doing since several weeks?? It is much more complicated that it was with WM5 to obtain a stable OS, and if you don't know exactly what you are doing your device won't boot for sure! Even more crucial, don't try to put any file from an emulator ROM into your cooked ROM! The emulator ROM comes with specific drivers and doesn't contain any of the required OEM apps, so it could be harmful for your device!! I'm really fed up to get everytime messages from "noobs" who want me to teach them how to cook their own ROM, even if it's my first public ROM I know good and since long time Windows Mobile systems, so if you want to start translating a ROM without knowledges you will loose your time and endanger your phone. [I'm not talking about you personnally dcoelho, but generally] It needs a lot of patience to properly translate a WM6 ROM, but it would be faster for me to translate it in different languages than to teach everybody how to make a ROM.

I want to help the community, but I can't spend my time here to answer any question or to solve problems of all those people who try to cook their ROM appart. Si tu n'a pas un minimum de connaissance je te déconseille de flasher ton hermes toi même.
Demande a quelqu'un de familiarisé ça t'évitera bien des souci.
Le créateur de cette rom a bien d'autre chose a faire que de former de A à Z les membres au flashage. Surtout qu'un bon guide existe sur ce wiki.

ps : J'installerais ta prochaine release schaps!!! A quand?

The author of this rom have other stuff to do than learn member how to flash.

Le flashage n'as rien de compliqué si tu suis les étapes.
Tu dois d'abord installer le Hard SPL V7 (très important, ça te permets d'installer n'importe quelle ROM Hermes sur ton téléphone et de pouvoir le récupérer en cas de pépin). Lance le fichier exe, choisis bien l'option "force using SSPL", ensuite il n'y a qu'à suivre les instructions.
Tu devras faire de même avec la dernière ROM Radio, puis la ROM WM6, cette fois en utilisant auto-detect (ou en cochant SPL 2.10 new bootloader et is it hard SPL si ça ne fonctionne pas).
Tous les liens sont sur la première page.
Bien entendu, il faut que ton téléphone soit débloqué, sinon il y a d'autres manipulations à faire mais je ne suis pas renseigné sur ce sujet.

I don't use this kernel version because it was made for another device than Hermes, it was reported to be unstable and doesn't come with real improvements. What's more, I don't have any source of this ROM base.
When I started translating ROM, I used the LVSW 3.30.0.0.8 for my tests, I used it for a short time and I also didn't notice big issues, excepted the famous freeze during standby. But I want to make a ROM the most stable as possible, and to make my own ROM, not just translating the ROM released by someone else. When a new stable ROM base will be available so I could base my future releases on it.
I don't know why you are so interested in having this kernel...

I already gave guidelines in the dedicated topic, any person who know ROM cooking should understand it. I don't want to write any documentation because I really don't have time for that and I don't want to see this great forum polluted with plenty of unstable and dangerous ROMs. There are some people here who are much more experienced in ROM kitchen than me, so why they didn't explain it... I think for the same reasons as mine! What's more, as I will publish localized ROMs there is no need for you to know how to do it as all the work is already made!

I tried to write my own complete ROM cooking app which could really help for translating ROMs (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=304461). It worked but unfortunately I didn't have enough technical information to finish it, and no one from the XDA developers replied to me. So if I have chance I could release this program in the future to make the process simple and easy for everybody.

Le démarrage a l'air plus lent qu'avec WM5 ? Je croyais le contraire... enfin ça fait tellement longtemps que je n'ai pas utilisé WM5 ! Mais ce n'est pas vraiment un problème, si on a un OS stable on n'a pas souvent besoin de rebooter son téléphone ! ;)

You need to configure modem to set up a new GPRS connection (yes I don't know why they call that 'modem connection'...).

I think it should be a problem with your Wi-Fi configuration or maybe your configuration has incompatibilities with the new Wi-Fi drivers.
I use Wi-Fi on several places, I never had any connection problem.
It is certainly due to your Wi-Fi network security (WEP, WPA, AES, TKIP, MAC,...) did you try to change it, or to disable it for a short time to see if you can stay connected?

To make you patient till the next ROM version, I publish a patch which solve some bugs of the current version:
- Space key for accents and special characters
- Words autocompletion (dictionary)
- Contacts autocompletion
- Errors in help file
- Text missing in Camera app

For those who want to save taken photos in starage card, you must insure that Bluetooth folder, Network folder and Extended ROM are disabled. Here are two cabs I made to hide/show extended ROM.

Are you trying to install it on my ROM? If no, that's normal as you need a certificate.
If yes, so it means that some files can't be replaced because they are in use. You should assume that all your programs are closed before installing, go in task manager and select Close all, or launch the cab just after a soft reset.

Strange, someone else reported me that Orange Live streaming worked fine with my ROM. Try to install StreamingPlayer cab (you can find it easily on this forum) to see if it solves your problem.

Sur les roms WM6 (note que j'ai pas encore testé celle-ci), le wifi est par défaut optimisé pour la batterie. Il faut changer l'option sur performance et ça devrait ensuite aller. Sur la Black 3.0.1, le curseur peut être à 50%. Avec les plus anciennes, je devais être à perf max.

Wifi is set by default to optimize battery on WM6 roms. You have to change the option to optimize for performance. It should then works fine. On Black 3.0.1, I can set the option at 50%. On older rom, I had to set it on max performance.

ActiveSync n'est pas nécessaire. C'est plutôt l'inverse. Il faut l'arrêter. Tu arrêtes le process wcsemgr.exe (ou un truc tout proche, j'ai pas le nom exact, suis plus sous XP). Puis tu relances l'installeur de la rom. Il devrait pouvoir flasher sans problème.

I have one concern: HTC version of dialpad (Smart dialling) is a pain... For exemple if I have a friend named "Gérard", and I want to call him, I'm going to type G-E-R (3 first letters of the firstname) but DialPad will not recognize... For him "é" and "e" are different caracters ...

In the "basic" WM6 version (at least the one included in XDA live for example) it works fine ...

Any idea how to correct this?

First of all thanks a lot to you schaps for your great work ! This ROM is really stable and fast, and i can't wait for all the great upcoming features of the next one...
I'm just having trouble with the Live part of it : i can't connect to Live messenger nor Live Mail. I can go through the configuration but when it comes to the actual access to the mails, it stops and says that the signal might not be strong enough where i am. I tried through WIFI/GPRS/USB SYNC.... nothing works! any ideas?

J'arrive à faire la configuration mais au moment de l'accès, il s'arrête et dis que le signal est peut-être trop faible là où je me trouve. J'ai essayé via WIFI/GPRS/USB SYNC... rien ne marche ! Une idée ?

First of all thanks for your very good work, this ROM is very good!!

As I'm French (even if I live in CH) I am never totally happy, so for me it miss just one thing in this ROM, it's the Virtual PAD. I had a E200 (smartphone) then a S100 (PDAPhone without keyboard) before so I am use to use the Phone Pad to write SMS but with the Hermes this PAD disappears :eek: and it's a bad news for me because it's very easy to use this PAD in order to write in EN-DE or FR because the T9 dictionary help you to not make mistake in all those languages.
So if you can extract this part from a rom of a S100 and put it in yours it could be very good! With this PAD you are able to write SMS with one hand ;)
Or if somebody has a .CAB which includes this PAD it's nice to give a link :D

So thanks for your very good ROM, I'm waiting for the next one which seems to be more beautiful !!

Sur les roms WM6 (note que j'ai pas encore testé celle-ci), le wifi est par défaut optimisé pour la batterie. Il faut changer l'option sur performance et ça devrait ensuite aller. Sur la Black 3.0.1, le curseur peut être à 50%. Avec les plus anciennes, je devais être à perf max.

Wifi is set by default to optimize battery on WM6 roms. You have to change the option to optimize for performance. It should then works fine. On Black 3.0.1, I can set the option at 50%. On older rom, I had to set it on max performance.

I've never noticed this "problem", thank you for reporting it, I will try to solve it even if I don't know where I could miss something for now... I compared carefully Smart dialing system with an original french ROM, I didn't see any difference. If someone have any idea... Do you also have this problem with other WM6 ROMs?

I am testing my new ROM since few days, I had very good results with it, and not any crash :D This ROM is based on the lastest kernel and build, it was optimized and run faster than the first version, and very stable (I didn't get the famous freeze during standby bug!).

The ROM is finished but now I still have to translate the OEM part in french. As many people asked me, I will also release this ROM in several languages, I had to change the ROM building process to facilitate translation in different languages, that's why it took so long time. If all is ok, I plan to release the new ROM before the end of this week. :)

I wanted to include it in my new ROM, as it seems to run faster than TAO Java and can be used in background. But I encoutered many problems with some Java midlets, various bugs, freezes and Java exceptions. :mad:

I just wanted to indicate that the bug of exit of stand-by mode, I had it with my first ROM WM5 1.18 and rarely with that current WM5 2.11.

Thanks for your help, but now I need more programming skills as I already translated 95% of the ROM (in fact I used for the major part translations from original french ROMs), I have to rebuild all .exe and .dll from OEM.

Windows Live works flawlessly with my ROM as with the new ROM, it should be a problem with your connection settings, did you check in Paramètres > Connexions > Connexions > Avancées > Sélectionner des réseaux ?

Well i wouldn't really know what to check for navigating on Internet explorer through WIFI/3G GPRS/USB SYNC works perfectly, even mobile.live.com.
It's just when i try accessing Windows live or Messenger live through the Program shortcuts, it asks me to accept conditions, then my mail and password, then if i want to display the live search bar and the services windows live. Then it asks me which elements i wanna synchronize (contacts and messenger, mail) and THERE when i say next, it checks the internet connection (step 5) and says:

"Connexion à Windows live impossible pour le moment. Vous êtes peut être en de hors de la zone de couverture pour les connexions de données. Réessayez plus tar ou contactez votre opérateur"

"Connection to Windows live impossible for now. You may be outside the coverture zone for data connections. Try again later or contact your mobile provider."


So if you have any idea... but if it's not ROM connected, don't bother you have better things to do!

I don't think the problem comes from the rom, but from the flashing process. I have not read in detail as I didn't have the problem myself. Olipro talks about a fix under development in the thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=304004.

Before, on WM5, when you wanted to start writing an SMS/MMS, the left hard button "NEW/NOUVEAU" allowed you to do it very quickly, whereas now this button stands for "DELETE/SUPPRIMER" and you have to go throught "MENU>NOUV". I know it's not much but it's the little things... :)

Also I was wondering, why is the smart dialing working to find someone in SMS but not in MMS (when u start writing name in "To" field, it would find the name but this doesn't work in MMS...) it's not new, but i was wondering why...

And my Live connection is still not working, i'm going through every setups see if i missed something. If somebody had the same problem, plz help !!

I think you can pass thru simply by unchecking synchronize Contacts during Windows Live Setup (or later in Windows Live options).

I know that many people complained about the Delete button instead of New in WM6, but I don't think it's possible to change it as it is hard coded.

The recepient autocompletion doesn't work for MMS, I think because it's a feature of Windows Mobile, and the MMS part is managed by a third party software (ArcSoft) which doesn't support this feature.

I'm using the last LVSW release which has esmertec java. You can choose the installation folder which is quite nice, but with opera mini 3.1 I get no response of the scroll bar, I've to use the scroll whell.

No chance. We can just hope that MS will change this "feature" in final release. But why in that case have an option to not sync contact if it has no effect. The only solution someone found is to switch account in options. It will remove messenger contacts. But it's fine only if you are not using messenger all the time. In my case, I have installed the old Pocket MSN :-(

I've just finished translating OEM apps, I added two nice apps from HTC, a voice recorder and Audio Manager, both allow you to create ringtones from your songs or your voice records. :)

This next ROM will come with the lastest version of all OEM apps and all the features of Windows Mobile 6, it will be really complete and has approximately 54 MB for storage and 51 MB for memory. But I would like to know if I should release a "big storage" version of my ROM, containing only the most essential stuffs, other stuffs could be installed using separated cabs. If yes, so what would you like to exclude from this lite version?
Question concerning mostly people who prefered to use another cooked ROM (if there still are) : what is missing in this ROM that you would like to have in the future? (don't tell me the Black theme! :p )

Et que a coter tu propose une version lite comme tu le sent aussi avec les quelques apps que tu a préparée.
Mais peut etre que c'est trop de travail? Si oui juste une light et tes cabs.

Comme dit précédemment ce qui me manque pour moi c'est le Virtual PAD.
Un autre petit point est que cette ROM n'est que pour les claviers AZERTY alors qu'en Suisse c'est du QWERTZ :'( (j'ai bien vu où changer ça dans le registre mais ça n'est pas pris en compte quand je redémarre :'( )

Quoi qu'il en soit j'installerai dès sa mise à dispo ta ROM car la précédente est vraiment terrible !!

Another small point is the keyboard of your ROM AZERTY but in Switzerland the keyboard are QWERTZ (I know what to change in the registry to have the right one but when I restart it's not take into account :'( )

And maybe a Divx player could be a good idea for the next version (TCPMP)

I also thought about adding WM5 storage but yes, it's not necessary, and it has compatibility issues with advanced networking function.

I will hide Extended ROM and Bluetooth folder in the next version, but it will be possible to show it using my tweak utility.

Je n'ai pas changé la configuration du clavier, car il s'agit d'un HTC TyTN. Aucun opérateur ne l'avait encore à son catalogue lorsque je l'ai acheté (pas d'orange SPV3100, pas de Swisscom XPA v1605, et rien chez Sunrise). Et si l'on voulait cet appareil avec une ROM en français, on devait obligatoirement l'acheter avec un clavier français ;-( J'aurais dû attendre quelques mois, mais je ne savais pas si un opérateur suisse proposerait cet appareil.

I don't change the keyboard configuration, because it is a HTC TyTN. No operator had it yet with his catalogue when I bought it (no orange SPV3100, Swisscom XPA v1605, and nothing at Sunrise). And if one wanted this product with a French ROM, it was obligatory to buy it with a French keyboard; - (I should have waited a few months, but I don't know if a Swiss operator would propose this product.)

Pour ma part, pour mettre le tout (clavier hard et soft en CH FR), j'installe le cab d'Orange (dispo dans l'extended). Puis je modifie la registry pour remplacer la dll de Keyboard (msim.dll) par celle d'Orange (msimde.dll) et je désactive le clavier Orange pour ne pas en avoir 2 dans la liste. Ainsi, le clavier d'origine utilise la dll orange et vient en qwertz et le clavier hard fonctionne correctement.

On my device, to have both hard and soft keyboard in swiss french, I use the Orange cab available in extended rom. Then I modify keyboard entry in registry to replace OS dll by orange one. Finally, I disable Orange soft keyboard to avoid two keyboard in the list.

Si c'est non, ne peux-tu pas l'intégrer (sauf si c'est déjà fait) dans ton tweaker pour éviter d'installer un autre tweaker que pour ça.

I've just finished translating OEM apps, I added two nice apps from HTC, a voice recorder and Audio Manager, both allow you to create ringtones from your songs or your voice records. :)

This next ROM will come with the lastest version of all OEM apps and all the features of Windows Mobile 6, it will be really complete and has approximately 54 MB for storage and 51 MB for memory. But I would like to know if I should release a "big storage" version of my ROM, containing only the most essential stuffs, other stuffs could be installed using separated cabs. If yes, so what would you like to exclude from this lite version?
Question concerning mostly people who prefered to use another cooked ROM (if there still are) : what is missing in this ROM that you would like to have in the future? (don't tell me the Black theme! :p )

It is working fine, just click and stay on the cross and you would see the task manager, otherwise go in Parametres -> Systemes -> Gestionnaire de taches

voila hier soir je décide a updater mon hermes avec la rom
Schap's Windows Mobile 6 Pro. tout ce passe bien le ppc redémarre, calibration de l'écran puis logique fini sont install. suite a tout ça le tytn redémarre, et depuis il ne c'est jamais rallumé....:confused:

je test un truc trouvé sur un forum "enlever la batterie mettre le tranfo quand la led passe du rouge au orange appuyer sur reset.

reste désespérément éteint :(

Essaye le bootloader?
Ca devrait fonctionner...tu repousses un firmware de base (soit l'originel HTC soit celui de ton opérateur si custumizé)...et ca devrait le faire!

Pour info l'install conseillé par le post ne marche pas, la EN only ne s'intall pas mais pas de soucis la multilangues s'installe sans problèmes!

Voilà maintenant je peux retaper des messages dans toutes les langues sans faire de faute à l'aide d'un clavier de téléphone standard ;-)

hard reboot celui que je connais ( 4 touches sur les coté plus reset)
ou les 2 touches "-" sous l'écran + reset
boot loader (touches on/off + ok + reset )

mais rien ni fait, toujours ecran noir....:(

Apparemment BBconnect ne fonctionne pas car il ne supporte pas officiellement WM6, il est possible de le faire tourner sans problème en hackant le noyau, lui faisant croire qu'il tourne sous WM5.
DUN est maintenant optionnel sous WM6 (remplacé par ICS), si quelqu'un sait ou je peux trouver ce package, je pourrai l'inclure dans la ROM.

I've never had such a problem, do you mean that when you press the Call key the dialpad doesn't appear?
