During firmware update the USB cable has been disconnected by mistake, and since then it displays a white screen without loading the OS.
All trials to reflash failed, since it does not see the current SW version (I think).
Is there any tool or any way that can help me force the firmware update to the device unconditionally?
Help would be highly appreciated.
TIA, Zohar

It depends if it is CID-Unlocked or not. Did you pay money to our friends at http://www.imei-check.com/ ? to get rid of your simlock? if so there is not a problem. Just reset your phone while holding down the voice record button on the left side of the phone this will display a three colored bar on the display, then start a original ship rom from T-Mobile or Dobop, HTC is a little bit harder. I don't own a Orbit, so I could be off. Please do a search in this forum there are some people with the same problems.

Good luck

Under Vista the upgrade in bootloader mode soed not work!
I think it is because of Windows Mobile Device Center Software instead of ActiveSync. Under XP no problem in 15 minutes...

Can someone help me with this? I've got to the "bootloader mode" but don't know how to flash it from there. ActiveSync doesn't make a connection at that stage of course.

Download this HTC P3300 WWE factory rom here http://rapidshare.com/files/19322112/HTC_1.12.405.01_026790_WWE_SHIP.rar. Now first launch Bootloader (multi color screen) and just run the ROMUpdateUtility.exe from the rar, voila your device unbricked ;) .

PS: If you are running vista you must first change a driver, see link below to fix that. Cheers
