You are a prime candidate for this kind of thing.

As for your question:
1) There is a great new invention called google.com
2) Had you used that invention or the site search engine you would know that answering machine software was discussed here many times in great detail.
3) If you bothered reading, you would know that:
a) Hardware on most WM 5 phone does not allow for answering machine.
b) Those phones that allow it come with the software built in (like g-smart if I am not mistaken)
c) There is a solution (don't remember the links, refer to section 1) that claims to work fairly well on many but phones it is not free.

Isecrtry works for HTC touch P3450,

but it enables the speaker phone and its loud, i would appreciate if someone can guide me to set the answering machine in silent mode.

well i think it uses the speaker so it can record with the phone mic!! just a simple theory
