I have noticed that if you disable the beam option in the comm manager if shuts off your wireless too!
after enabling beam and restarting, my wireless card picked up the networks, but still couldn't associate with any wpa networks.....

I have "Receive all incoming beams" turned off and my wireless still works...but, then again, I am using 3.0...so it may be an issue with 3.0.1

beam on or off I can associate with networks (wep/wpa), send/receive email, activesync but no web browsing. In the black 3.0.1 thread it has been noted that updated wlan drivers will be added to the next release. I'm assuming this will fix the issues.

I was having wireless connection woes and looked up numerous threads and then I realised I had MAC filtering on and the name of my device had changed with the flashing and for some reason my router wouldn't allow a connection.
Quick reboot and re adding my mac address with the new name sorted it out straight away. Router is a belkin F5d7632.
