I did not realize that the "WM5 AKU3.5.2 R5 Rom Kitchen v2"
was to be used on a GSM phone.

I have a CDMA Audiovox PPC6600

Having some troubles here, if anyone knows on how to get phone back
to 2003SE please let me know
I have a non-lit screen that comes up that says

USB

v1.02

I have a non-lit screen that comes up that says

USB

v1.02That would be the screen that appears when the device is expecting to be flashed. You will need to find the correct ROM flashing utility for your phone.

Where to find one, I don't know. You are going to have to do some searching for that, or try calling the carrier you got the phone from, they may be able to point to a site to download the utility from.

Yeah, I was just thinking about calling the carrier on Monday, was hoping that there would be something online. But from the sounds of it (alot of readign), there is no CDMA Rom that has been "distributed", I am guessing that is why no one has actually cracked it open as of yet.

Unless anyone knows of somewhere... ?? *keeps fingers crossed*

Have tried both of these plus a few others, am getting an error code that comes up on the installer.

"Error 120: Country ID Error"
The ROM image tgat you are using is not designed to work with your device. Please check the vender websire and download the correct ROM update."

Hmm, am wondering if there is something I need to do beforehand.?
Seems that the WM5 loader or program is still on my BA. Can tell when do record, camera, reset. Than the 4 coloured bars come up. Still the same thing.. "No GSM" at the bottom.

Would this have something to do with why this update for 2003SE is not working ?
