About modem speed BA

I have been using my BA as USB wireless modem. I used to get normal gprs speeds but I changed to a new notebook few days ago. Now I am getting 240 kbps, but I learned BA doesnt have edge. Could it be correct?

correct. blueangel has no edge. it is gprs class 10.

No, but the device itself might go up there, i think.
anyway, the speed you see id not the real speed you get.
