could someone tell me whats the minimum configuration to cook a ROM

Win 2k, xp, 2k3 + .net framework
RAM: minimum: 1 GB (+very, very fast paging file). To cook comfortably: 1.5 GB
CPU: I was using Centrino 1.4 GHz and it was enough.
HD: 180MB free. If you want to make backup of every version (it is useful to find errors): 180MB per version. For example: I have backed up 29 subversions before releasing my 1st release, 13 subversions before second release.
Good text editor (I'm using UltraEdit).

Less RAM - set a lot of virtual memory. Total (virtual + phisical) at least 2GB.
Cooking will be very sloooooooooooooow, but with good results.

Only one : Do you really read the output given by the command shell?:)
And yes we are speaking about CreateROM.bat, but you know it since you read the guide and so on...
