I mailed imei-check about CID unlocking my Ameo. They replied saying it can be done, but not over-the-air, and the unit has to be sent to them by special delivery. It will cost £20+£7 return post. What i want to know is, has anyone ever sent a unit to them, and is it safe and reliable as there is no contact number for them.

Sometimes you have to take risks  You can ask them for contact number by e-mail.

I dont think i'll bother. to many risks sending a £600-700 unit to a web company that dont even have contact numbers listed.

I mailed imei-chech for a landline contact number, and this is the reply i got

Hello,
You can call me on my mobile : +4479********.
The payment it will be done via paypal or direct bank deposit after we received the device and we unlocked it.

Still dont think i'll bother, any company doing this kind of service should have contact details listed on their site!
