HI,

as wroted in other threads here's my first ROM for MTeoR!

It is an German only ROM!

cleaned up a bit and inserted Total Commander, PHM Reg Edit, AutoKeyLock, SK Tools lite, AppUnlock Regs, STK disabled on StartUp, PowerSaving RegKeys

after screen verify that you want to upgradre rom from:
1.5.707.3 to 1.34.251.1 next ready to update bla bla next verify
then screen error [260]: update error
"the utility cannot connect to your PDA phone bla bla..."

just read the threads & specially "THE WIKI" around the breeze forum...

it is true that this is an hermes RUU but it works on breeze too!!!

only thing what you have to do is to run first the sp3dev's SSPL on Breeze...

after running the sspl.lnk file immediatly press cam+power button now you enter the bootloader and can see "ipl-sspl by Des" and an "SPL-1.01"
now you should plugin the usbcabel in and run the ruu exe ...

the upgrad should begin! takes about 10 min ?!

it should be possible, but i don`t know how the splash is encoded. probably the same as hermes.

as i wroted you in sspl thread... what would you like to change???

as you can see in my rom i have an personalized splash ...

it is like the one on hermes!!

Just need to at my mobile phone number on splash screen so it might prevent thief to take mine ;)
BTW, English version rom would be nice :D :D

... i have also think about such a thief prevention on my hermes...

but it is totaly useless...

because when they did a full shipped rom upgrade this is all gone away...

and when the grab you device the know what the can do... maybe not as good as we here but a shipped update ... i think that should be no problem...

interresting thing should it be to edit the cid to a personal one...

when the didn't know about sspl it is inpossible to flash a orig. shipped rom...

if we can cook a rom with a personal cid only flashing trough this is possible...

maybe .... if a have time... i build cab files to readd the other languages ...

Hi FutureShock,

applied the cooked one some days ago.
my breeze was 1.30.251.1 with 1.16.00.10 radio.
mainly had problems with dropped calls:mad:
After some mistakes i decided to first apply 1.34.251.1 shipped rom and radio (firmware upgrade only possible using older ROMUpdateUtility dated 03.07.06, then applying radio with the newer shipped Utility).
then i applied your's using SSPL without any problems (btw nice splash screen :) )

i will give it a try, but already had some phonecall drops in the meanwhile.
seems that the device is broken (read similar problems in the forum, where another guy has send it back to repair and got a change "mainboard", not sure it is true, or if the problem is fixed) but i will check it for some weeks (device has warranty till october).
if it's still the same problem i send it and also get my lost joystickrubber added :)

because the phonecall dropping... i had that issue some times too but this is not a problem of my cooked rom... it is also in original rom!

the problem is the 3G coverage at your location!!

i had a few company coworkers with breeze too and the gave me the solution.... just try to turn of wcdma usage in bandwitchselection!

just use GPRS/EDGE some days... you will say phone is morestable and no phonecall drops and no hanging calls where you cant answer !!!

i think this is an provider problem and when i have time i call mine (A1 Mobilkom Austria) about that

thanks for the hint, i will give it a try live in cologne/germany and have to use eplus due to my company's contracts, there's also no hsdpa i think :-(
i'm using exchange active sync very often and it was so nice using umts.
would be great to test a vodafone or t-mobile card for some weeks....
just took a look at http://www.umts-netzabdeckung.de, maybe i will write down the locations at actual dropped calls and check them later in the map...

I´m not sure, if I understood it right: Is your cooked Rom WM5 or WM6 ? - Is the MTeoR able to be flashed by a WM6 Rom of the Hermes ?

there is no WM6 ROM yet
this is custom WM5 ROM, based on 1.34 version
