Today I installed 3des.3.5 and then went back to Black Pro 3.0.1. Now I'm confused, because the device shows both 3des and BlackPro Spash screens at startup.
I re-installed BlackPro + hardreseted, and still the same happens at reboot.
Can someone with BlackPro confirm whether it is right to have both the splash screens at startup or what..?
Thanks.

PDA have two splash screens, first (flashed) and next from windows directory (some welcome95.png or something like this).
3des have both splash.
Black 3.0 and 3.0.1 have only second splash screen. (then your first splash leave untouched)

Actually there are 3 Splash screens:
1) MainSplash
2) SubSplash
3) welcomehead.96.png
MainSplash & SubSplash are .nb files, generally both are the same and just contain the operator's logo; welcomehead.96.png is part of the OS rom and is the windows mobile splash screen in non-cooked roms.

Many thanks for these inputs!
So no big issue here I suppose. I mean nothings really wrong here apart from the "disagreement" to still have 3des' as a 1st splash, or..?

There is no disagreement here. You will continue to see the 3des splash because JJ did not overwrite it. POF listed each splash. If you want to get rid of 3des splash then compile your own splash screens.

Which is something I believe he mentioned in his description of the ROM.
But glad it all got resolved.
