Help Please.........

I have a dopod p800w and I tried to flash it with Tom_ART_v2.00.02_CB downloaded from here and it is dead. It goes to the initial booting screen and just stays there forever. I have the original ROM from dopod asia and I tried to flash with it thru SD as guided from ur website. When I invoke the bootloader it says searching for sd card and immediatly goes to 3 color bands, then nothing happenes.

I feel like crying now. Can somebody helpme

Try to get the phone into bootloader and flash the orignal shipped rom and for gods sake and for the sake of your expensive handset read the post by our moderator meschle right at the top before even attempting to flash.Hopefully you may retreive it.

is this boot loader can be invoked from desktop using the prog (mtty.exe)mentioned in ur forums (im not IT savvy)

is ur phone cid unlocked? try t-mob. shipped rom. it helped lot of people

Even I get the t-mob rom how do I flash it? thats my problem

Tried some steps using mtty.exe as advised in forums but nothing happening
Sitting in front of the computer straight 19 hrs but in vein

Hi I would like to inform very happyly My dopod p800w is alive.

Yap managed to restore it with original shipped ROM.

Actually I was trying to flash it from SD card which I couldn't with out knowing I can connect USB cable when it is in bootloader tri color band and straight away start by double clicking the EXEfile of original ROM

1)Disconnect from USB cable
2) switch off telephone
3)hold CAMERA key (key on right side of phone)will start in 3 color mode
4)plug in USB cable

5)start ROMUpdateUtility.exe and follow instructions
which I followed in my Dopod P800W and damn it it worked. So happy. Nice to get stuck and find a way out of it. Wish all of u happy Tappings. Thank u
