Toggle Bluetooth with single button press with 'discoverable' mode

Hi, i'm hoping someone has managed to do this:

I have a fantastic little app that will toggle on/off my bluetooth connection that I have assigned to the side 'media' button. Unfortunately, it does not retain the 'make this device discoverable to other devices' option. I need to this to allow my car to connect automatically to my Treo.

I would love a solution that allows me to press a button and it turns on the bluetooth in discoverable mode. Has anyone managed to do this??

I've tried AE button with same results.

Will be very grateful for any help!

The program Phonealarm handles that quite nicely, although it is a bit overkill if that's all you need and might be more expensive than you're looking to pay for.

imo the must have no1 app

Glad to hear that it helped :-) For me, one of the greatest values of Phonealarm is the developers interaction with the customers. If you go to the forums, you WILL find your answer, or the developer WILL fix your problem. I wish all of my software had that kind of support.

I've just discovered this for myself. I think the developer definitely has the right idea and keeps listening to his customers. Again, many thanks to you for pointing this out. It has honestly completed my device!
