Hello forum-mates! Does anybody knows/can help, why when the damn phone is not connected to the PC, most of the times the ActiveSync runs in the background? Of-course everytime I shut it down with HandySwitch, but still sometimes it comes up again.:mad: :confused:

Hello and thanks for your reply. The details you ask for are:
OS/WM5 - both ActiveSync 4.2 and Vista Mobile Device Center
ROM 1.12.405.1 ELL (Greek version)
Date 9/12/06
Radio 02.67.90
Protocol 4.1.13.28

I don't know if there is any proper way that I should follow to disconnect the phone (which I don't?), after sync. Thanks.:)

Have you tried a search on here or googled ?

Basically have to setup a fake server source.

Load Activesync, Menu, Add Server Source, at server address type anything i.e server, next, at user name type in i.e server and at password and domain, next, then tick off contacts, calender etc, then finish.

Then you should arrive back at ativesync main screen, menu then schedule, set peak time and off peak time to manually, ok.

Then Menu, Option, Delete Exchange Server and exit activesync.

All going well you should be able to stop activesync from running and it will only load when you need to sync.

Hope this lot makes sense.
