I'm currently in China and wondering if I would save any money buying this phone in Hong Kong. I am planing on going there this summer but not sure if I should wait until I going to Hong Kong to buy it.

Also, anyone know the max capacity SD card that it can hold?

i dont know about saving money, but i think you have more choices (different brands) and CID unlocked in HK. I think the price has fallen way below 3000 rmb or HKD by now.

I dont know the max size of SD card can hold, but I'm sure best price range is 2 gb sd cards, u can find 4 gb sd cards work as well, but price will be higher. I dont think you save much to get SD over there vs in USA. and You have to worry about warrenty and stuff.

Oh, so maybe I'll wait then. In Beijing I was quoted 2900RMB for the 830 but it's smuggled from Taiwan, which explains why it's so cheap. Only problem is that due to the fact that the phone was smuggled from Taiwan, there is basically no manufacture warranty so only the store where it is purchased can fix it.

Do you know of any HK websites so I can get an idea of prices and also other models that HK might have to offer?
