They published that Windows Mobile 6 for P535 (and P735, A639.. etc.) will be available in July.

Easy. If p525 will be updated to WM6, then p526 will be a total market failure.

Sorry but it is going to be a failure because it has the slow ti omap 850 running at 201Mhz.
Asus and their clever marketing...

Nope, it will be far from failure.
Because a lot of people wont even care what processor inside it when they see the magic "WM6" sticker on it. And equally big lot will be content with OMAP, and will even advocate that its "better", because it has EDGE & WM6.

ASUS perfectly knows what it does. They have a perfect example - HTC. Of course being copycats ASUS will be doomed to always have HTC ahead, but they are far from being ignorant.

But how about a WM6 rom that is cooked from the P535's? Is it possible in any ways?

Good Working . No Problem Install.
