This rom is in chinese, to change in english Start-Settings(see icon)-press 0(More), press 2(Regional Settings) - press joystick, choose UK English, restart

Applications deleted:
- all games
- java

Some application are in chinese and cannot be changed in english (CeleTask,SimMan,WM5torage)

I wonder how can i edit/create a .nbf rom (from standard rom) like this one. Anyone can help me?

well is simple
Download Vista Rom, unzip it, connect your mobile to your pc (via ActiveSync), you will find in unziped Vista Rom folder a file named ROMUpdateUtility, open it and follow the steps.Is very simple

I'm using this ROM. The joystick is better with this ROM as it was not with some others. Font is also pretty for displaying Chinese character.

I liked this Rom until I discovered that there is no wifi control! Is it just me or is this really missing? Back to the I-Mate rom for my SP5.

What is the camera like on this rom?
Is it the same as the iphone rom?

@Lemark yes indeed joystick is better, joystick driver is the one form Orange UK AKU 2.0 i think.

I've tried to download it from the link and using an ftp client but I can only get about 2mb before it kicks me off!

GreatRom, but there is no wifi . Joystick is better but craze,ikone is beeeeeeeeeeeeeeest .Its too bad ,but must comeback to oder official ROM.

Try this to show the WIFI on the Comm Manager...

Use a Registry Editor

HKLM - Software - HTC - CommManager

If there are 6 keys present..

Add a key named 7
Under the 7 key
Create a string named - Default
Value Data is - WLAN

Go to HKLM - Software - HTC - SupportedFunctions - just add 1 to current Value Data..if it's 6 then make it 7.

Wait for half a minute then reboot

You guys have to put NetCompactFrameWork into Storage Card/Program Files/NETcompactFramework/. It is provided by the Cooker in the original ROM as a separate bundle.

no language french is not available, only english and chinese. meabe you can put it yourself, i don`t know

Nice ROM. It would have been nice if it came with java though.

I installed the T9 language pack from the iPhone thread. Makes typing much easier

I have the Cingular 2125.
Is it possible to copy the taskmanager app from the faraday rom to this rom, 'cause I cant find the task manager.
After you load a few apps things start running very slow. Have to soft reset to clear the memory.
