hi guys,
i m abhayjeet singh frm india and had bought orignally an o2 neo xda phone with dopod rom and accidentally installed the o2 neo update frm o2 germany site...which installed smoothly.i did'nt knew that it would be in germany......so can anybody pls help me in reverting back to the dopod or any other english rom. i had tried to install back the dopod rom but in vain. maybe due to cid lock....pls help step by step and location of the softwares......there are already many forums about this but could'nt understand a word...pls hepl me urgently and pls contact me on abhayjeet@rediffmail.com....

Solution

you can go to ftp://xda@ftp.xda-developers.com/Prophet/Shipped_Complete_Updates/
if it asks you for any user name and PW use
Username: xda
Password: xda

Pls remenber to login first and than download.
Download the PROPHET>>>DOPOD>>>>NO VENDOR ID WWE As ENG.

Then go to the go to the boot up screen on phone (HOLDING RESET+ CAMERA AND COMM MANAGER BUTTON)you will come to a screen displaying only 3colours.

Now connect to your PC run the software (WWE version)remenber you choose no vendor ID or u will be stuck...

after connecting do as screen shows next>>>next .... it will install the WWE ie.,World Wide English.

pls dont download crossbow ie WM6 as there are still some issues with the ROM
