Youll need Gray/Silver (any) Color - the same color they use to paint cars - to use with the air brush
http://rotter.name/User_files/nor/465049ca614f5f161.jpg
youll need special 50% nail polish \ 50% coagulable stuff (get at your local carpenter) not regular nail polish - to use after you paint to keep it from peeling

An Airebrush, (used to paint on cars, walls , etc... very gentle tip)

of course to dissasmble your trinity, it's 4 screws not very hard to do:

Work space:

Protect the parts that are not going to be painted:
http://rotter.name/User_files/nor/465049f2623514c22.jpg
Important: before you start painting you must scratch the current black color first, with grinding paper\Sand paper - very gentle one. it is the hardest part to do, so do this very gently.
Some results!!:

Are there pictures concerning how to remove the inside of the phone? I mean how to get the buttons and the scrollwheel out of the frame. Some pictures of the inside after it had been taken out would be great.

well but how did you remove the void-sticker without breaking it? or do you have some void-stickers in your stock :)

Plastic primer bonds the paint to any plastic. just like color coded bumpers on your car. without it paint will flake from plastic.

Very Easy use a hairdryer to warmed up after that take a needle and peel of carefully the sticker after your finish what you have to do put it back the glue it still working and the sticker is no damaged.

How did you use the special 50% nail polish \ 50% coagulable stuff ?
Did you airbrush it ? Or used a regular brush ? What about the plastic part with the usb port ? Sand paper it too ?
Nadavi
25th May 2007, 01:58 PM
First you scratch the plastic (also the USB port plastic part)
then you paint with airbrush (the color is already with the congeal stuff inside)
after it dries you nail polish it.

Well I managed to open all screws and to get rid of the seal without breaking it, but could anybody please describe how to remove the electronics from the frame? Where to set the screwdriver? Where to push or pull withouth damaging anything? The pictures are fine, but they don´t show the interesting part of the action, removing all the electronics from the body/frame.

Ok, I´m almost done. I remove the tft from the frame, but now I´m stuck with the keypad. I can´t get it off the frame, because of the wires. Could anybody please give me a hint?

I too have noticed a little bit of paint peeling off where the stylus sits. It appears to look like the underneath is a dark chrome. I am curious to know how would it look if all the paint was peeled off???? It might look really nice.

I have already done it on mine. It looks like on the pictures, all is chromed. I like it, in fact it's very nice as it has the same color of camera's button.

I did that with mine too, partially though.
But underneath the chrome there's more black, which shows after some time...
So its:

Those without an airbrush might consider just buying a new cover (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=309877) :)
