My GPS suddenly stopped working. It was working fine for couple of days, and now it can't find the satellites.
I was wondering if I need to change the configuration. For example, on the GPS Status page, there is a "configure" section.
There it says Select your GPS receiver. Which one do I need?
Next, it asks about GPS Baud rate.
Then, it has "GPS is connected to" section, with COM ports. Which one should I use?
Any help would be appreciated.

settings are ok. you can also chose "built in receiver" if you have such an option.

The Built-In option appeared in TomTom V6.03.
The Baud rate makes no difference to TomTom; some GPS apps need the rate to match the hardware setting, which is 57600. The actual data transfer rate is no more than 1000 Bd anyway, which is why any rate setting ought to work.

Try soft reset if it takes to long to find satelite. Works for me

Does this version work with WM5 or WM6? I'm currently using WM5 and thinking about d/l tomtom version 6 if I can find it...
Thanks
