Problems with WM6 ROMs

Hey. I've been trying to flash WM6 ROMs to my T-Mobile MDA G3.. I've tried the Crossbow-Reloaded v1.5, Molski's latest ROM on his site, etc. and nothing looks any different after the ROM is installed.. even when i go to settings->about it says i'm running wm5.. something is going wrong. I make sure to CID unlock the phone first.. I've tried flashing the WM6 ROMs with the latest official t-mobile ROM, i've tried downgrading the ROM first.. i've tried everything and nothing seems to work. Is there anything I'm doing wrong? I was up all last night and i got nowhere. Please help.

what does the os version show on the IPL/SPL screen?

Did you do a clear memory or a hard reset after flashing?

The key is, when you downgrade did both your IPL and SPL go to 1.xx? Usually only the IPL goes to 1.xx, and you have to downgrade again. Lokiwiz will work if the IPL is 1.xx and the SPL is 2.xx, so you have to verify this. Once you get both down to 1.xx and have run lokiwiz, then (and only then) upgrade to an official 2.xx rom, otherwise you are NOT CID unlocked.
