How exactly do you check that a set of packages will fit? It would be much easier if the checkboxes would show the size right away. But regardless, how can one check it anyways?

You can check after building the rom, and before flashing, it shows free sectors

In the beginning, it warns to have at least 1 free sector, and in the end it also shows the same warning. So if the ROM will fit, will it still warn in the end and say control c out of flash?
How can I check my ROM image afterwards -- that nk file -- what the ROM size is and how many free sectors are there?

all that can not cook a rom, when you start bat file at the end of the rom building operation it shows how much free sectors you have, it should show at least 0001, if it show something like FFFFFFD13 this means that you have exceeded free sectors and you will get unbootable rom, remove items to free up space(i mean oem packages, or select just needed packs from the BuildOS.exe)
This is from WM5 AKU3.5.2 R5 Rom Kitchen v2 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=1227935#post1227935)
