Blackberry on a v1605 - Duplicated account [Archive]

I have installed

BBConnect_PocketPC_BB_al_2[1].1.2.52.cab

on my v1605 and hooked the device upto my PC with the BB Connect Desktop for Windows Mobile

When go into messaging i have 2 instances of a blackberry mail box - one has a large number string underneath it - the blackberry mailbox without the number string has my folder list all ok and i can receive emails to it ok - however when i send or reply to an email it sits in the outbox of the blackberry mailbox with the number string underneath and is never sent

I have removed the BBConnect and reinstalled and still got this (i originally installed with BBConnect_PocketPC_BB_2[1][1].1.2.31

any ideas?

When doing the re-install did you let it remove all your settings? I have found that keeping settings between re-installs can also keep any corruptions that can cause problems.

I have also had to resort to a hard reset on a couple of occations in order to get the BB software working.

I had the same issue, it looks like you have had a failed install, re-installed and the installation process hasnt cleaned out the old settings, I had 4 at one point then it failed to install for the 5th time because it said there wasnt enough space to isntall the mailbox, I had to hard reset to get rid of it which wasnt too much of a challenge as I was running Black D which is a fast hard reset...
