If you ask for my oppinion about this Rom, i must say that at the moment (22.05.2007) this Rom is the best of all WM6 Rom. there are no issues that i find out. But i'm only a normal user.

My quick review.
After install the ROM it happens to me that the screen looks different that ur screen. I can't see any BatteryStatus, I have to set "Menu" by myself (it shows only Today and Shutdown).

The Autorun.exe and Config.txt have never been activated. That may be the reason.

I pressed Camera + Comm buttons while doing hard reset.

Looks like it is too clean for me. But if the Config.txt file can be activated I can install something such as PDF reader and HTC Zip by myself.

Please suggest what happen to my installation...

I just installed the PDAVIET 1.1 version this afternoon and spent hours to get my applications re-installed and reluctant to jump to something new unless the improvement is obvious.

Can someone tell me other than the CommManager 1.6 which has 9 buttons, what are the major difference between the two?

I installed CommManager 1.5 which has 10 buttons (one for VOIP phone).

Yesterday did I install the rom pdaviet PV 1.1, and today I have installed this one, he was mentioning on John-Wu that were almost equal but that this one was spending less battery, but it seems to me that he is the other way round, to me I believe that battery was spending less the version 1.1, someone more has noticed it? or am I wrong?
What me goes better in this one is the wifi, it gets connected very fast and goes better.

In windows directory rename the file PowerOffWarnig.exe to PowerOffWarnig_old.exe and rename PowerWarnig.exe to PowerOffWarnig.exe, I use Resco Explorer for this operation.

I just tried smart1 v3, mobizpda fantastic v2.0 ac2, and now pdaviet 4.0.0.0.1.

I have to say, pdaviet is the keeper. Too many small little bugs in smart1 v3, mobizpda was full of "junk", and now the pdaviet rom seems clean and no major bugs to report so far. I'll report back in a few days...

My ExtRom install without a problem. To run your ExtRom, you need to downgrade to AKU2.2 or below, then upgrade to this rom.

all WM6 Roms are for both G3 and G4. It's only important to use a G3/G4 updater at step1 (install Aku2.2)

For my G3, I prefer 4.0.0.01. Very fast and clean rom. No extras/junk software. For those you need, you can customise your own external rom installation.

It comes with PHM regedit preinstalled.

Well, after using almost all the rom versions from PDAMOBIZ/Smart/Jaster and all other, i have to say that this PDAViet 4.0.0.1 is running on my Jamin G3 very fast & clean, it took me 34 min to downgrade to NVID rom and upgrade to PDAViet. now I'm running SPB Phone & Weather with my Hebrew support.

All the WM6 that I've tried, I still cannot run coolcamera at 2mp for my G3. This rom is no exception, Coolcamera still recognize it as wiza200.
I think Coolcamera extract device info either from camera driver or os, not from ModelID in registry.

The first issue I see (other than my SDCard vanishing), is when I set a 30 second timeout on the Backlight (via settings), it then always goes back to 10 secs.

First of all: great rom. It is very stable.

My bug is: the x-button does not work correctly. In another thread i saw, that you can add programms to the exclusive list by tap+hold. This does not work for me.

Excellent Rom. By far the best and the fastest. Will test more and look for problems, so far its been bug free for me. Is not draining battery compared to the other wm6 roms.

I use the wm6 VOIP function to communicate via W-LAN. Does anybody know whether it is possible to use it without headset? When calling somebody the sound just came through the loudspeaker on the backside (same as wm5 with sjphone or skype).... i hoped when it comes native with wm6 that it works.. :-(

Does anyone know of a fix to "restore" the today functionality?

edit: confirmed that this is a bug with htc x-button. should make sure it's off or make sure "enable x-button on today screen" option

That does not happen to me, and the motive for which raisin is because surely you have 2 switchers of aplicacions X-button and other, uninstall one of the two and it will not happen already.

Hi Guys,

I'm a complete newbie to upgrading and tweaking of my phone.

When reading all the information I could find I came up with the following procedure for upgrading my Prophet G4 to the WM6 pdaViet ROM:

* Hard reset my phone
* Tap once to get to screen calibration
* Connect to usb and activesync as guest
* Install the first ROM by running ROMUpdateUtility_NV_G4.exe on my pc.
* then install the Prophet_4.0.0.0.1_PV rom by running Upgrade_ROM.bat on my pc.

tada, my prophet is upgraded!

Is this correct or are there any more steps to be followed? Currently I am running the latest Dutch ROM from Telfort and as far as I know my phone is not CID-unlocked. Couldn't find a solution for this, but as I look around it seems that the CID unlock isn't necessary.

IPL: 2.10.0001

You'll need to use Win XP mate. I had the same problem, and when I tried booting into Win XP on the same machine, it upgraded perfectly.

My friends told me that they are keeps calling me and I don’t answer the call:eek: ,I trey it myself and established a phone call using another phone :cool: ,I can hear the ring back tone but my phone gives no action (another dimension):rolleyes: I have to do soft rest .

I don’t know is it radio problem or the rom itself or third party software.:confused:

i. I have to take back what I said. I think the difference of power drains of the two versions, namely PV1.1 and 4.0 are not that much different after more experience with 4.0

ii. I like to add another comment is that I am able to get VOIP working in WM6. I'm fairly happy with that. I have not tested its quality but I will. If anyone interest in that maybe we should start another thread.

iii. I would also like to see a thread which is specific discuss PUSHMAIL, that is next thing I want my Prophet can do. I have a DOPOD 818 which China Mobile setup a PUSHMAIL with. But whatever setup is not portable to my Prophet. So I know what it is and what it is like. I would like someone can help.

Hi, you can try radio 2.47 or 2.61. I had similar call issues when i used rom 2.69

I think you used profile from backup program? It usually make the bug on the contact program.

it can't power on and recieved any call. When we call a phone with others to 818,the line is just oK but I can't hear the ring sound.

What I was happy with in PDAVIET 1.1 is that when I receive SMS or missed call, big blue icon will be shown on today screen and then the message letters will be so big.
How can get these for this nice version?

4.) It seems that it is not changing ringtone, i have changed it many times, it again goes back to default one.

Other problem wud be there, but it will be discovered after i use it, i am using it from 24 hours

I'm trying to update to the new 4.0.0.0.1 version, but when flashing step1 the RUU is giving me a FILE OPEN error.

What is the correct path for the nk.nbf file?

Or should i just drop these files inside a normal RUU after decompressed?

Sorry to post again but the RUU is having some issue indeed. It cannot update the ROM to STEP1. I am running smart1 1.3, made a hard-reset and on the TAP screen (1st one) with active sync as guest i ran the RUU for step1 and it keeps stating it cannot open file (not the ROM, but something on the PDA).

Any idea of what might it be?

EDIT2: I was missing good old Cert_spcs.cab and Enablerapi.cab. Didn't know i needed them with WM6 </noob mode>

Excellent Rom. By far the best and the fastest. Will test more and look for problems, so far its been bug free for me. Is not draining battery compared to the other wm6 roms.

I've been running this rom for a few days now.... I've hit a few issues. Can someone else confirm it?

1) after a few hours I can no longer start wifi. I tap the button in commanager and it'll think for a few seconds but wifi does not start. I have to soft reset before this works. and again, after a few hours, it will fail to start again.

2) excel mobile cannot edit/update a spreadsheet under /storage card/my documents/. Create a new spreadsheet. move it to /storage card/my documents/ and open the file again, add some numbers and try to click OK to save. I get an error saying it can't save the file. If I change location, it'll work fine.

I have the same experience with the WiFi as you describe when I was playing with VOIP. Just do the reset, that is no big effort. Everyone is trained by Windows, isn't it?

I have installed step1 first, customized what i wanted to have in my extended ROM, and flashed it.

I can only say one thing on the fisrt hour of use: AWESOME.

I'll be testing it for a few days, but it seems to be the best release so far. Congratulations on the excellent work.

My experience is:
WIFI will start when you tap the button in commanager twice...(first time you see just the "hour class symbol"...second time it turns WIFI on.

I am experiencing some difficulties in changing my Prophet ROM. Nevertheless I was able to recover it using the procedure in:

Ok, its very simple, around 1h job. : P

If you can access to the bootloader (press camera, use stylus and press reset, release reset) and you see your original IPL/SPL everything is ok. (you can now take a deep breath) :rolleyes:

Reboot your PC. In bootloader mode connect USB cable to Prophet and PC. ActiveSynk will not give you any response.

I used the file RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_NVID_QTEK.exe dowloaded from xda-developers ftp while the Prophet was in bootloader mode and connected via USB to computer. (I just cant find it to give you the link, but let me know if you need it) :mad:

you just have to click next [a la windows...]

You should hard reset your Prophet (camera + commmanager key, use stylus and press reset, release reset, click call button when asked)

You should be able to use ActiveSynk now! :eek:

After that I installed the Cert_SPCS.cab and EnableRapi.cab, no reset was needed.

Then installed the Prophet_4.0.0.0.1_PV rom by running Upgrade_ROM.bat from the computer.

Done with success. :D

have follow the step 1 and install without any error.

Hello, good morning, after 2 days of diverse test with the rom 4.0.0.0.0 and with the rom PV 1.1 , I have reached to these conclusions:

1- Are of the better roms that there is at present, stable and function all programs I use habitually.
2- The bt functions correctly, sending and receive files of several devices that have tested.

3- The drain of battery is the less of all roms that it have tested and have tried many, many. But I insist that the PV_1.1 consummates less battery that the 4.0.0.0.0, have verified it with diverse test:
In stand-by during 7 hours, the 4.0.0.0.0 it has wasted away 2 % of battery and the PV_1.1 does not reach to 1% , this test has made it 2 times.
By using the programs the consumption of the PV_1.1 also is less , there is not great difference, but if consummates less.

4- Wifi, in 2 it passes me the same thing, sometime not it is initiated well from the icon that have in the tray, and when it passes that neither it is initiated from the CommManager, have to carry out a softreset in order that starts to him well, this problem passes you to many roms of WM6.

5- After to install all programs remain a lot of memory and free ram, these 2 together with those of pdamobiz are those who better it are in this aspect.

6- Are but slow that many roms, the majority of russian roms is more quick, even some modified rom of WM5 is more quick, if I suppose that therefore the duration of the battery is major.

In resume and in my opinion at present are 2 it improves roms, the unique problems that see you is the problem of the wifi and that it are a little slow.

Cloudyfa has not outlined you it creates a rom with 12Mb of pool????
I say it because remains a lot of memory and free ram and maybe is 4MB remarkable of pool it gives you the rapidity that it shorts you

I have been using this ROM for one day, and the issues are exactly the same as with most other WM6 ROMs. Wi-Fi problems, losing data from GPRS/MMS (although somehow this gets fixed by itself after some resets/reinsert data).

I haven't found any problems with calls (2nd call issue), and the ROM looks better than most others (apps included, themes, free RAM, etc).

This is my favourite up till now as it's almost perfect. Fast (specially at 273Mhz), reliable and good-looking. Besides that you can decide what you want in your extended ROM and put there your most used applications so that they are installed everytime you need to make a hard-reset.

Let me correct something i posted and is not accurate: The GPRS/MMS passwords as well as email accounts are NOT disappearing after a soft-reset. It's working well. Actually everything is working well, except Wi-Fi that is kinda lazy to turn itself on. Sometimes only goes on if you turn it on two times. It never works from BatteryStatus tray icon, but that's minor.

I notice that the font is a little different in PIE, but only on some pages, when compared to PDAMobiz. It is just a little harder to read on this ROM when the text is at the 'smaller' setting. But, on the whole, this is ROM is significantly faster than the PDAMobiz. Great Job!

Although, for those of you who claim this ROM is cleaner than PDAMobiz, it is not! The only thing PDAMobiz had was a huge Ext_ROM, which didn't even install anything. This ROM has a XP_shutdown as well as some free memory app in the system tray, both of which cannot be uninstalled.

But, a very nice ROM!

I really can't help there. I have a 4GB SD (branded dane-elec but known to be toshiba) which suffers from the same problem. On the other hand, my 2GB Kingston model never had problems like that be with WM5 or WM6 (any ROM).

Mine is 1 Gb card and it did not gave problem with WM5
It is giving problem only with this ROM

I'd like to add a few more issues with the current rom.. Not sure if any of these happen in smart1 or mobizpda wm6 roms..

3) wifi settings disappear after reset. From time to time my wifi connection settings disappear after a soft reset. Not sure how to reproduce. might be linked to the problem where you can't start wifi and need to soft reset

4) the ringtone gets "reset" to Ring-WindowsMobile, and the ring volume gets stuck in vibrate even though the volume bar says it's not in vibrate mode. I've missed a few calls because of this.

Can anyone confirm these problems and suggest solutions? I'm actually very interested in the excel /storage card/my documents problem i reported...

In windows directory rename the file PowerOffWarnig.exe to PowerOffWarnig_old.exe and rename PowerWarnig.exe to PowerOffWarnig.exe, I use Resco Explorer for this operation.

Odd Wi-Fi behaviour:

I tried to turn Wi-Fi on with the batterystatus icon and it didn't work. Then i tried turning it on with the commmanager button and it didn't work. Exited commmanager, removed the SD card, waited a few seconds, reinserted the SD card and tried once more to turn Wi-Fi on with the batterystatus icon and it worked.

Go figure...

I've been a "silent user" and I am trying a few ROM's to see what's the best for my needs. Well, I'd like to thanks all ROM's creator but the best until now is PDAViet :)

However, despite the small bug's like wifi (press 2x the commanager button), there is a new bug that no one had talked about: I receive a lot's of emails in my inbox with links to the web. If I press one of those links it should open PIE but with this ROM i receive a error saying that ": DEFBROWSER" is not instaled...

If I open PIE manually and enter the same link (even with copy-paste), it opens naturally with no problems..

It's a small glitch, but very annoying to the users that receive lot's of emails with links to documents or websites...

After a week using this rom, i have to say that i come a cross a hard bug. When reaching under 40% of battery strange things happen. Like in a poltergeist, light goes off, wifi doesnt turn on, buttons have a lag while pressed and executed, and it hungs up like if it was a windows 95 pentium I :eek:
Conclusion. Pdaviet v1 was cool. I'll try 1.1 now

Could be...guess what: when i flashed pdamobiz as step1 instead of pdaviet step1, this didn't happen. I'll check it out. Anyway i am not the only one. In todopocketpc.com 2 other guys reported the same story

Yeah i guess the WM5 flash procedure is important. If anything goes wrong, the next WM6 flash might be affected somehow. I'm no expert, it's just a guess.

I had to do it two times as well because the first time put me into some problems with this new PDAViet release. Now i got everything running fine.

well this r my thought for few days usage.

i have install SPB time and mobile shell with it.

sometimes the device just hang itself after soft reset ( on thw windows mobile screen.)

some calls ended by itself after 1 or 2 minutes.

wifi, need to tab twice ( no a big issue and happy with that )

device some hang by itself while browsing the contact list.
try spb backup 1.6 and have some error:
unable to read from file \windows\BSEmfile0.sig
unable to read from file \windows\history\history.ie5\index.dat
unable to read from file \windows\cookies\index.dat
unable to read from file \windows\temporary internet file\content.ie5\index.dat

Have had it once. But I used BatteryStatus with Scaling mode on: 188 -> 273 MHZ. Disabled the settings now, will see if it works correct now ;)

I had the same issue , and used the patch/upgrade files from another ROM (keeping the new os.nb file) and it worked.

I am fairly numb or being trained to this machine hung of any O2 machines.
If it is not too often, leave it alone. Remember that Dopod recommands that you do a soft reset of the machine every morning? I guess we all have to put various application and utility softwares in the machine, the chance that something get collided with other is fairly high. Unfortunately, v1.1 was not out there for too long that I didn't have the chance to get some historical data of it before moving to 4.0.0.0.1. I just took Cloudyfa's word that it is a better ROM.

- 3 days ago => error : i was in 1.5 version (after using 1.6 = backup ok)
- Yesterday => error : i desinstall 1.6, reset, run sktools, reset, re-install (backup ok)

This morning ! canot read after windows/compimeh.dat :mad: Is the only solution is that i done yesterday ?

Well, as i can see it , i have two main errors with this rom:
1. I need to do a soft reset twice a day - one for connecting the S200/Jamin to the car power, and the second one - some times the Jamin is freezing.
2. When i'm sending sms in hebrew , the other person gets some thing like ??$#?$@ instead of hebrew.

1) cannot open contacts. tapping it opens and closes it immediately
2) "cannot execute \windows\timewizard.exe" error keeps popping up
3) ext ROM cannot be unlocked. I did install the CAB and ext rom unlocker, but after a soft-reset, it is filled with garbage and cannot be deleted.
4) INCOMING CALLS SOMETIMES NOT REGISTERING! - people who call me claim that I do not answer, but my phone does not ring at all.

Problem (4) is what made me go back to WM5.0 for the time being... :(

Yes, this ROM makes the device wake up from standby very slowly. It takes a good minute before everything is working properly.

I am using Chinese fonts (CHS), my friends told me they couldn't read my message. After I check the box of using Unicode in SMS, problem solved. You can send message to youself to verified.

If you couldn't find the box and you didn't want to take the time to find it, it is better to stay in WM5. There are lots of surprises in WM6 because there is none claimed to be perfect and there will never be one as long it is Windows.

Normally for every releases of WM6 up till now, if you found some minor bugs, those could be real. If you found gross problems or some missing features, most likely tons of more experienced people would talk about it. Check for pilot error. Read the Forum, you will find users have yet found a way to write the ext-ROM of Prophet in WM6. You may keep checking untill someone figures that out. Is that so important afterall you get so much more RAM from PDAViet WM6 versions?

Contacts of WM5 cannot be read by WM6, it is also documented somewhere in this forum. You need to use ActiveSync 4.5 with Outlook to re-sync the contacts to solve the problem. Other short cuts like copying the file directly just won't work. I did not use Oullook and that was a problem for me. Finally, MS won and I had to learn Outlook in order to get my contacts into WM6 or I need to re-enter 400+ contacts manually.

Phone sometimes didn't ring, that happened to me many times even in WM5 of my AtomExec. You watch the phone and suddenly there is an icon appears and says you misses a call. What to do? Drop the mobile phone service? I seemed to got that problem with Mobiz1.1 that is: no icon warning, just missing calls, but 4.0.0.0.2 is to new to be confirmed to have that problem. Beside, since then I upgraded my Radio version so there is no apple to apple comparison.

Installed it 24 hrs ago, and NO problem at all. Undoubtedly it is the best WM6 rom I have come across (I tried ALL the wm6 roms available). I think, no I'm sure it's your installation problem. Try flashing again by the books.

Thanks for the great ROM. Installed about 24hrs, first ROM that I can use built-in VOIP function successfully.

Wifi not a problem, has not checked the BT yet. 4.0.0.0.1 had no problem but will test out this one.

Battery drain doesn't seems to be a problem either.

Removed HWPen, the machine freeze, reboot then lost touch screen. Hard reset. Installed the new HWPen, lost touch screen again. Manage to install HWPen the 2nd time, now everything is fine. The moral of the story is that sometimes it could be just one of two softwares that the new OS is not 100% happy with. It is a trade-off that you would like to wait for the new software or wait for the new OS.

to really judge the new OS, one should re-install all softwares from scratch in order to have a fair judgement. I guess most people are not at that state.

Mousum... Those are CLEARLY the symptoms of a bad flash. You probably didn't hard reset your device at some point or restored a backup from another ROM version.

You cannot restore backups from other ROM versions and expect it to work properly (don't know if it's the case).

ALWAYS hard-reset after ROM upgrades and NEVER upgrade to WM6 from another WM6 rom (as of now).

That's nothing to do with battery status. The battery driver thinks it's charging, but it's not, that's why BS indicates charging.

It seems that I got some problems sending MMS.

If I'm lucky, it only takes abt 10 tries to send an MMS.
Receiving is usually no issue at all, and works on the first try.

No in my previous post i meant the screen which notifies you of an incoming call, it's white and has th title bar colored in blue.

in PDAmobiz's Rom when u have an incoming call you see a black fade to white screen that notifies you of the call,

anyways no one has any idea from where to get some dialpad skins? ((even if not for free))

Sorry I don't remember how exactly I download the file with the link provided in this thread. I only remember it downloaded kind of wierd.

It was from one place (the source) to another place (a folder not in my computer), a counter showed the download progress and when it said it was completed. I just grab the .rar file and drag it to my desktop and close the all windows.

Please be patient, someone will provide a better site for downloading.

Well, I cheated. I cannot affort to re-install all my programs. I always use old backup version for new ROM but expect a bunch of cleanup works. I use SKtools to help.

You just can't upgrade from WM6 to another WM6. The upgrade program just won't work. I use the step1 from PDAViet 1.1, and my Device Info show ext-ROM version as PDAViet 1.1 instead of 4.0.0.0.2 as figure shown in this thread. It didn't bother me as long everything working fine. You may use the Mobiz Step1 but you will find you'll get a lot of other utilities from the ROM, I don't think that is a good idea.

Just installed the 4.0.0.1 version of this ROM and so far I am a happy camper.
It all feels a bit more WM6 then the smart 1.3 I used before.
And finally my camera works again :D

Guys, I've used Smart1's rom in the past and this rom at first sight seemed like a much better alternative. After flashing my prophet following PDAViet's steps 1 and 2 with rom version 4.0.0.2 and configuring my GPRS internet connection, I tried to synch with exchange server and got the following error: "there is not enough free memory on your device to synchronize information close programs that are running to free up memory" . No the strange thing is that I had not installed any software at all in it, also I was using the recommended step 1 WM5 rom. I checked the memory and had about 50% available of each program and storage. I tried cheating and connected my prophet to my desktop pc, performed an active sync but that did not work either, got the same error. also I tried previous rom version 4.0.0.1 with the exact same results. Any ideas on what I may be missing here? I didnt have this sort of problem with SMART1's (besides a long list of other bugs with that rom.)

Replying to my own thread after following the advice of several members here:

I reflashed my phone again, making sure that I did a HARD RESET this time. And everything works now! I think previously I hard-reset using Clear Storage. This time, I hard reset using the hardware buttons and the reset hole. I think this is the difference.

@St. Ray: reflash your phone again, and do a physical HR as I described above. I had the same problem before. Now I can activesync all my contacts, tasks and appointments.

Only "prob" is the 9.9MB of the ExtROM is unusable. (Thanx jychan28 for the info). Let's wait for some guru to figure out how to unlock it...

I use this little cpl file. Put it in your device's /windows folder, and reset. After that you'll find soft key in settings menu. You can use it to map your L/R softkey to anything. Hope it helps.

this problem also has on every WM6rom. I 'm not sure that soft reset was done before charging with car charger can work normally.

PDAViet Temp step1 and WM5 AKU2.2 NVID are basically the same. If you don't have PDAVIET temp step 1 ROM, the NVID rom is equally interchangeable. They're both AKU 2.2 ROMs. Just don't use the mobizpda step1 rom because that's an AKU 2.15 ROM.

I've been running this rom for a few days now.... I've hit a few issues. Can someone else confirm it?

1) after a few hours I can no longer start wifi. I tap the button in commanager and it'll think for a few seconds but wifi does not start. I have to soft reset before this works. and again, after a few hours, it will fail to start again.

2) excel mobile cannot edit/update a spreadsheet under /storage card/my documents/. Create a new spreadsheet. move it to /storage card/my documents/ and open the file again, add some numbers and try to click OK to save. I get an error saying it can't save the file. If I change location, it'll work fine.

3) wifi settings disappear after reset. From time to time my wifi connection settings disappear after a soft reset. Not sure how to reproduce. might be linked to the problem where you can't start wifi and need to soft reset

4) the ringtone gets "reset" to Ring-WindowsMobile, and the ring volume gets stuck in vibrate even though the volume bar says it's not in vibrate mode. I've missed a few calls because of this.

5) bluetooth settings disappear after soft reset

Can anyone confirm these problems and suggest solutions? I'm actually very interested in the excel /storage card/my documents problem i reported...

Can anyone who has tried this new 4.0.0.0.3 ROM let us know the differences? I have just flashed to 4.0.0.0.2. And I've just finished setting up my programs... and I'm lazy to redo it all again...

Still using 4.0.0.1 but I do not have those issues.
All I have from this list is enabling the WIFI seems a bit unstable.
It does start but not so fast the button notices it after pressing it.

But no wifi/bluetooth nor ringtone settings disappeared after soft reset.
Als saving to SD from excel works ok for me.

If you ask for my oppinion about this Rom, i must say that at the moment (22.05.2007) this Rom is the best of all WM6 Rom. there are no issues that i find out. But i'm only a normal user.

I have flashed to 4.0.0.0.3 and differences is thet is working more fast and when you shut down it clean recent programs on a start menu this is what a like it.

Just flashed it and replaced PDAViet V1.1(8mb paging pool), seems not much different on speed and will test it for a few days.
I wonder is the clean up of recent program a bug or the design since I think it's quite useful for open recent used programs. Is there anyway to use this by a registry changes.

Program Clean up is a design change its listed in updates log.

im having issues with random faults on upgrade to 4.3
i had 4.1 working no issues, downgraded using step one - no issues
running upgrade to 4.3 constant errors never the same usually to do with ITSUtils?
had my phone hang at boot up once but was able to put into bootloader and get WM5 back on (phew).
any ideas please

EDIT: ok i tried 3 more times doing exact same thing and its working, however its really really slow... please see my new thread if you can help!

Hello, If someone help me i would like to understand what am I doing Wrong.
I' ve upgraded the radio version to 02.69.21 and The rom BVersion is 2.20.7.34 WWE.
I want to upgrad to WM6_prophet_PDAViet_V4.0.0.1.
I start RUU and every time is the same thing, only upgrade to the current version 2.20.7.34 instade of the 4.0.0.1.
Why?
I don't understand, can any one help me, please?

I´m using version 4.0.0.0.3 and no errors so far. No ringtones back to windows default after soft-reset and so on.
Have lots of things to try yet. If I find some bugs, I´ll post them.

I just wanted to share an update since my last issue, I followed Putra's advice and did a hard reset (or clear storage) after performing the upgrade to 4.0.0.3 . My synch issues are gone now and everything looks perfect so far. I'll post any bugs if found.
