I accidentally got a smear of superglue on the screen just after I got it back from repairs the first time. It's not white, so it only is a small nuisance, but does anyone know what the touch screen material is made of?

Is it polycarbonate maybe?

Just curious if anyone knows before I 'test' some acetone on the screen

i dont know .. i imagine yes, its some sort of plastic. I would try with extremely diluted chemicals at first, and very gradually get stronger until it is removed. I would guess that the screen will become blurry (I bet worse than it is) if you dissolve any of the plastic screen at all

Add water.

Try 1 cap acetone 10 caps water then remove 1 cap water at a time till its gone. Maybe even start with more water. Do not get impatient.
