!!!NO!!! WM6 Update from T-Mobile Germany....

i have bad news. I called T-Mobile today to ask if there would be an Update for the MDA Compact 3. The answer was : NO, there will be no Update...

Shoking... thats not a good answer.

BUT!!

I read that it would be possible to use the O2 Rom or the official HTC ROM if i CID Unlock my device. I would pay the 28€ to imei-check if this is true..

Can anyone tell me if this will really work?? Does this work without other hacking of the device??

You don't need to CID unlock to upgrade to WM6.

Check the upgrading forum..

Relax, i already wrote twice and called once. 3 different people (of course) and 3 different answers.

1: it will come arround june/july
2: they dont know when it will come exactly
3: its not planned at all

Make sure you install enablerapi.cab before else you'll end up with a bricked MDA and have to restore it through bootloader!

I also called T-Mobile Germany (Business Line), and they told me that they're going to release WM6 in the beginning of June.
