WM6 ... I'm lovin' it!

After a couple of false starts, we've got a pretty good selection of WM6 ROM's available thanks to some pretty dedicated people who have put a lot of time and effort into cooking those ROM's.

I'm running Fantastic v1.1i and having no issues. I did need to do a soft reset once when plugged into a USB cable to get the USB charging to work, but other than that all works brilliantly.

I do not use WiFi so cannot comment on how well that works. I have a bluetooth car kit that is working fine.

Still testing the battery, but has been running since 6am yesterday (13.5 hours ago) and currently sitting on 58% left, with a full day's use yesterday with Direct Push enabled and 44mins of talk time. That's pretty good and on a par with what WM5 used to give me.

I was previously on Smart1 v1.2 but had some issues getting v1.3 onto the device so gave Fantastic a go.

Thank you to the guys and gals who put the effort into modding WM6 onto the Prophet.

I don't noe about fantastic one, but i will say that the current ROM PDAviet i am using is very gud, WiFi working, Ir working, dictionary while typing is working, everything is working gr8, some bugs are there like battery draining, that i feel not many others feel the same thing, SD card problem (tolerable),

Update on battery usage.

I used the device for a full 2 days (49 hours to be exact) and the battery was at 32% remaining.

Total of 95mins talk time, Direct Push running the whole time, nad some texting etc.

This is pretty much the same as WM5 used to give me.

PDAViet 4.0.0.3 is working great for me so far. Just about all the major bugs seem to be fixed. Only a few minor ones still remain, but they dont get in the way of general usage.
