I don't think so... Include Office 2007, so i beleave is a newer ROM, and the build is 04/23/07....

The date 1 may 2006 it's not the ROM date.... :)

Really, the aspect seems like LVSW, but have M$ VoiceCommander include :) (never see this in LVSW ROM) so this is like a modified LVSW ROM (perhaps)....

I do urge every member, especially the Mods, to consider creating guidelines for publishing ROMs.

We must convey that, between members, a lot of them are noobs or - at least - inexperienced regarding development.

Although i am very well aware that if the choose to upgrade without learning how to do it first, it's actually their problem. Nevertheless it would be nice to publish extensive documentation so we may help them.

Apart from the noobs issue, it would be nicer to everyone if there were such documentation.

Mods, please advice.

Yes, you are right in this...and the Commanager is not the last used by LVSW ROM...so we need Fox Mulder here to get "the truth..." :)

interesting, some of Darkforce's app build no. are higher, and some are lower than LVSW. So there is room for improvement on both sides. that's is FANTASTIC. I really doubted that things could get much better, but there's the proof!

But how its always been said. Just because something is newer doesnt mean its better than what is already out. Kind of looks like a plain rom to me. I think i'll be sticking with my custel rom for now. Good luck with this rom. :)

tried it out...couldn't restore my settings with settings saviour .93 or load any tweaks with htc custom 1.4.

both programs crash when you try to restore, or hit save on htc custom

Edit: settings saviour just doesn't like the install cabs feature...guessing its a security setting

yes.. the tweaks by various tweaks prog will not work in this rom ..no H icon either but u still got HSDPA speed (see below)

the ROM is stated as version 3.1.0.0 ROM date: 23/04/07 (CE OS 5.2.1413 Build 17913.0.3.0-same as LVSW's)

M$ VC is working.. the HTC X Button need reghack to work the exclusive & activate function

the office mobile apps are all of Office 07, all the windows update & customer experience notifications are still there

as for me, am going back to sleuth variant of LVSW 3.30.2.1

I gave a test and here are my first impressions:

Good:
-This rom is very fast and responsive (browsing windows folder with the lswl i had took ages)
-Everything seems to work at least as good as on the other roms

Less good:
-WPA2 is missing, I added it through an old cab I had on my storage card
-Voice command does not go through my bluetooth headset by default (nokia BH-200), the fix does not work aswell. I can hear a buzz in my headset showing that it tries to establish the connexion, maybe it is just my headset that doesn't work well.
-Softkey changer is present; and I don't like it ;)

I was able to use SettingsSavior 0.94 on this rom. It's security settings are such that it prompts you for every install. Unsigned packages.

Are you using the Auto Install feature? It's possible that any trouble gets ignored, and since all of the packages require confirmation you don't see anything.

Also Settings Savior restored all of my settings to the machine, but couldn't copy over the My Docs\Templates (probably more security issues) so it creates a RstErrors.txt in the SettingsSavior dir. It's not a crash just an error log of what it wasn't able to copy.

So SettingsSavior seemed to work for me. When you it errored, did you get the Couldn't copy all the files check the RstErrors.txt file message, or did the app crash?

Two issues:
1) I can't find activesync

2) When I dock this device with my pc I get unknown USB device.

This might be tricky to flash away from.

Any one else seeing the same issues?

0.94? i had .93 the program straight crashed. I did have it in silent instal mode. but then I used the old HTC Tweak 2.1 and disabled the security warnings...still a no go with the cabs. The bigger problem is using the tweak programs like htc custom 1.4 or pimp my black...any time u hit save, the program crashes

Yeah, I used Tweak 2.1 to remove the security warning. I got no errors after that.
