did you define an MP3 file as your ring tune?
if so this may result some delay, use a wav file as a ring tune, just place it in "RINGS" dir. under windows

Try calling yourself with the (PDA on) & with (PDA off). I think you will notice that there is about 3 seconds/rings delay when the PDA is off.
Also, like the previous poster said, MP3 as ringtone might take a bit longer than .wav file. Try using .wav as ringtone instead.

Thank to all,
i'll try thw solution but i have a wav file like ringtone. I'll put it in windows\ring because, now, it is into "storage card\my documents".
If the PDA is off and there is about 3 seconds/rings delay, is the a solution ? can I leave the pda approached permanently? if yes how I can make?
thanks once again
