my mem card's gone weird

i am using of 2Gb of mem card and recently just formated because it asks to do so everytime i try to copy something onto it by using card reader. what i've found after formated is less than 1Gb. Anyone has anyi dea where's gone the other half? very much appreciated for help

Yep same thing happened to me, lost more than a physical gig of memory using SanDisk Ultra 11.

you must format card in your device, try using Resco or other tools such as Pocket Mechanic, good luck.

pocket mechanic doesnt pick up my card. I think i have to live with it

try using Resco File explorer, go to its settings and view hidden folders ro system folders, there might be a hidden file consuming your memory card, if you found it just delete it, you can also try this method if you have a card reader using windows file explorer
