Weird NEW tone out of nowhere?

Anyone ever have an odd sounding tone occur when they click the call button or the end call button? I have an 8525, running WM6 Black 1.2, and today out of nowhere when I start a call I get this odd tone. Same thing happens when I hit the end button. It's not the usual sound. It almost sounds degraded, if that makes sense. I'm hesitant to hard reset, but may if this little annoyance persists! :o

Hi, I had the same problem many times and I think it was from using a car charger that was not original. Wierd but true. I did a hard reset and it fixed the problem. I hope this helps. I has this prob with the Kjam and my TyTn. I do not use these chargers anymore. Hope u get luck.

Holy shit!!!! I just bought a car charger and started using it! Fuck! That's gotta be it for some reason. Geeze. That's fucked up that a car charger is the reason. :(
