Hi
does anyone know either how to get VPN to connect thats built in vpn or a 3rd party VPN client that will connect to PPTP VPN's
I did setup VPN in my connection list, checked all the settings and they are ok but when i tap and hold on the vpn connection and tap on connect it does nothing, i tried bluefire vpn but that wouldnt connect, looking in to it more it seems to only connect to IPSec VPN's
I am using Vario 2 on T-mobile
can anyone Help?
Thanks

Hi
Couple of things to check.
Make sure you have two connections listed in your connections. The first being your internet gprs connection ie tmobile. The second being say My work network.
If not go to advanced tab/select Networks and select or create a new one for "Programs that automatically connect to a private network....." now edit this connection go to modem tab and make sure it DOES NOT have a modem listed as it will connect via your existing gprs or wireless internet connection. In the vpn tab add your pptp vpn settings. And in the Proxy settings make sure the "This network connects to Internet" box is NOT ticked.
Once you have the connections setup make a connection to the internet either your gprs or wireless, then go to connections vpn and tap hold connect and see if this works. You also may have to add intranet urls/address's to exceptions list so as to access them thru the vpn
