hi im a owner for a g4 wizard (without cid unlock) and i view a feature for cid tool.....


so my question is if a friend with a cid unlocked g4 can read his cid unlocked sector and pass me the file then i write it with this tool and then have a g4 cid unlocked device??

This question should have been posted in the Wizard Service Tool thread and could have been avoided if you'd read the whole thread carefully because it's very clear that there's nothing my tool (or any other based on the same apps) can do regarding G4 CID unlocking.
It's not a problem of not knowing how to unlock the CID (the method is the same as with G3) it's a problem of NOT being POSSIBLE to write to the CID zone because of the write-protection.
So to conclude, NO, you can't use your friend's CID block in your phone because you could never flash it (not mentioning the issue of the key index compatibility)

But what you and your friend can do is share your CID blocks to help this project http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=307558 no matter if the CID is blocked or not (as long as they are not yet provided by others)

Search no more as there are no FREE tools to do what you want. Only the guys at imei-check, and they charge.
