Storage card : memory in use different then actual use

Hello,

I have the following problem :

My 2 GB storage card is full according to the memory applet, but the actual size of the files on the storage card is only 600 MB.

I admit I copied a lot of files on the card and deleted them afterwards.

How can I solve my problem.
