Yes, guys! There is such thing as,The FINAL ABSOLUTE NO BUGS HTC Universal WM6 ROM

And, I have found it!

This ROM has the niceness and the look of Jason's ROM and at the same time it has the speed and courage of Midget_1990's ROM.

Yes, it is based on original Midget_1990 ROM WM6 2.20.02.WWE/v1.0 and modified by none other than PDAVIET.

It is called PDAVIET v2.10.07, and the link for it is here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=308763).

It is not 100% perfect, as nothing is life is close to 100% perfection, but it is very close to it.

lots of memory... i don't think so... has around 2 mb less memory than midgets release (i think they have increased the pool size)

do i still love it?? YES YES (am currently using it)

You are very observant and caught my obvious contradiction. I was making fun of the sticky named, " !!!! Final ULTIMATE - No Bugs HTC Universal WM6 ROM!!!!"

Even the title of this thread was same, but I guess our friend Midget the Moderator changed it to, " PDAVIET 2.10.07 Discussion".

Yes, there is no such thing in life as perfection.

Now to the two minor bugs:

1. Cannot create the email after pushing the camera button. To resolve this, delete the MMS in the registry. Rename the MMS1 as MMS. You will now lose the MMS capabilites. Create as many email account you want to. Then go to to registry and copy the MMS and make a new entry as MMS1. Back to MMS capabilities and again cannot create anymore accouts.

2. As far as caller id bug is concerned, it could be due to the serivce provider. I have no such bug.

About the bug... Just use another camera app instead of the default one to avoid the unable to create new account problem.

The above is only a partial fix. As doing the above one will loose the capabilities for sending the MMS. To regain the capabilities of MMS after creating the email accounts, copy the MMS1 as MMS.

Of course, now you can't create any more email accoutns!

Actually, all you need to do is delete the "MMS" Key (leaving the "MMS1" key intact and DO NOT rename it) - this will give you both MMS and the ability to create email accounts

I have not tried the above, but will try it!

The instructions quoted at the link are:

The steps:
1) go to \HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Inbox\Svc
2) you should see MMS and MMS1, MMS contains only one subdir, otherwise empty, MMS1 contains keys and a subdir
3) delete MMS
4) rename MMS1 to MMS
5) you should be able to create a new email account

Tried it and both worked fine, but as soon as the camera button is pushed, the MMS is created again and no more email making capabilities.

you can make a simple mort script that runs on startup and deletes the offending reg entry

I've more ram with .08 (~30Mb)

.07 (~26Mb)

i've not have more bug on .07 to .08

For me, PDAVIET is simply the best.
