can anyone recommend a good BT device to allow me to stream music from my Hermes to my Stereo?

YES! I have been using the Motorola DC800 for a few weeks now (picked mine up super cheap at a manager's clearance special from Radio Shack for $30!) and it is rock solid. This device allows you to not only stream from your Hermes to your home stereo/speakers but you can also stream from it to a pair of compatible stereo bluetooth headphones such as the Motorola HT820's or even the newer S9's. Hope that helps ya out.
Cheers
PS- anyone have any idea how to access the DC800 through the mini-usb? thanks!

That's exactly what I use, although I wish the S9 price was as cheap as the DC800 at the same Radio Shack sale . I think the miniUSB is power only, but I could be wrong

The reason I asked if anyone has accessed the internals of the DC800 through mini-USB is because when I connect the device to my PC, it detects a USB Human Interface Device with firmware revision 20.62. It's really neat that I can stream my music from my PC to just about anywhere around my house. I wouldn't mind tweaking around with it a bit to perhaps juice up the range and/or sound quality. Googling around for drivers and firmware updates were fruitless.. can anyone point me in the right direction of software that can query a USB device and draw a list of commands, ala PuTTY?
Any assistance is appreciated

so the DC800 definately streams boths ways ie FROM a stereo unit TO a BT headset and FROM hermes or a PC TO a stereo unit?

so the DC800 definitely streams both ways ie FROM a stereo unit TO a BT headset and FROM Hermes or a PC TO a stereo unit?
CORRECT! However just to clarify one point you made, I would like to add that the DC800 will stream from any audio source via 2.5mm/3.5mm -> RCA (red and white plugs) to a compatible pair of STEREO bluetooth capable headphones.

Just picked up a DC800 myself on ebay for $42 delivered. Took a whole 5 mins to hook it up and now I'm streaming 3G over to my main system from my TyTN w/GSPlayer. Awsome fidelity too. Wow.... what a cool gizmo this is!
