Error [294] Invalid Vendor ID?

I have a Orange SPV M600 which I'm sure is a G4.

IPL 2.10.001
SPl 2.10.001
GSM 02.07.20
OS 2.10.1.22

This was my first attempt at trying to change it using the following Rom:

JAMin_WWE_ 2130923_21309112_020720_ship

I have searched and searched not only this web site but all over the web and can't find the answer to this error, can anyone help or point me in the right directionplease.

Not sure if the above will give me a French (FRE) version or what to do with the ROMUpdateUtility-NoVendor ?

Not wanting to let the grass grow under my feet! :-)

I tried the RUU_Prophet_215738_2157127_023021_QTEK_FRE_Ship_No VendorID and bingo got a French Qtek version.

Then did a bit more research about the ROMUpdateUtility-NoVendorID as my French is not up to scratch, but hey would have been a good way to learn it, me thinks not!

Anyway found a thread about using the ROMUpdateUtility-NoVendorID and tried it with various different Jamin rom's and am now stuck with the rainbow screen as it stops as 95/96% with an 326 Error!

Oh Joy!

Tried searching for this problem and it seems most treads have died!

Ok? Being a new person on this what will that do?

Allow be to update the device with any roms?

it should help to get the device back to life, flash the radio, then flash official rom once again.

Ok, having found the time to do this, I think I have mucked this up - ish!

I tired found the RRU_Prophet_2151327_21513121_021921_DOP_ASIA_WWE_S HIP-NoVendprID.ZIP!

I also downloaded the Prophet_G3_G4_RadioRom_V2.69.21 because it seems the date 07/04/2007 was the lasted?

So I tried the above RRU_Phophet... and that worked fine, so I tried the RadioRom next and that worked ok. But because I wanted the ruu_JAMin_213923_2139122_022021_noskype_wwe_ship.e xe Rom which I had downloaded it comes up with a Upgrade problem?

I am fairly happy with what I have done as it seem better than the Orange software!

The only problem I have at the moment is the loss of the Screen rotation Icon on the lower toolbar, which I will try and search for else where.
