Is there any way to put the superior Broadcom stack on the X7500?
Would the cab file available for the Axim X51 work, or that damage the device?

Are you having problems with the default stack or just like the Broadcom better? Just curious. I'm not having any problems with my Athena and BlueTooth.

It works fine,as far as it goes. Mostly I use BT for music, and I'm finding the quality a bit poor, with buzzing-hissing in the higher registers, even after following all the reg tweaks posted on other threads.
I used to use an Axim X50v upgraded to WM5, and the Broadcom stack was far superior for music with my Motorola MT820.
Other than quality, the M$ stack performs flawlessly - connecting straight away plus switching to phone mode and back and retaining AVRCP control. Before upgrading to the Advantage, I tried a Sony Ericsson Walkman phone that didn't manage that.
If I knew the Broadcom cab was OK to use, I'd try it out to see how it compared quality-wise and switching functions.
Another question would be, have M$ made any improvements to the stack in WM6? If so, I could just wait...

I can't get my bluetooth to initialise at all on my Ameo :-( I've tried soft resets, hard resets, re-flashing the ROM, and upgrading the Radio...
I don't know much about bluetooth, but i take it this "stack" controls it... would that be in a protected part of the device, which wouldn't be effected by these resets?? Is there anyway I could reset the bluetooth stack :-/
Please help, I need to get bluetooth going again, and can't believe that it really is a hardware issue.....
Any ideas? :-/
