Animate today screen

Hi frnds,

I have a O2 Neo it has a some built in gif files in my documents.
Now the problem is i m not able to use these gif files...like there is no animation..
Also if i want to use a animated screen as today screen it does not work (no animation)

how do animated today screen work..pls give me any software..

also i m unble to use IE when i connect to my phone using a data cable.

You cannot use animated GIF files as a today screen. Search for "animated today plugin". Or give THIS (http://www.gigabytesol.com/anitoday.htm) website a visit.

Check if you have this in the regsitry on your PC:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows CE Services]
"AllowLSP"=dword:00000000

This only applies to AS4.2 ;)

I have tried the resco file xplorer...It does not animate here..
I m it should work sure as the same image i.e gif file opens and animate in Nokia phones..

Yeh i want animated plugins..
I already have Macromedia Flash Player installed on my PPC..
where will I find free plugins..if u have any pls attach.

I had the resco photoviewer sometime back but had uninstalled it...thanks now I have reinstalled the app on PPC and can view gif ...

Now can you guys also help me on :::
1.I use MP3 as alaram tone..
any software or any tweak.

2.I have overclocked the CPU to 221mhz is it safe??
how long can I keep it going.

3.Any alternative free/cracked software for animated today plugins..

yes, it's very simple to have GPS.

All you need to do is buy a GPS receiver.:D

by the way I have tested that animated today screen plugin from my previous link and is is only at version 0.2 but it works quite well on prophet....There are some bugs, with certain gifs, but he is actively developing it so definitely one to keep an eye on.
