I'd love to find a piece of s/w which runs on blue angel or similar, and will go round all the networks accessible at a point in space, and note/log/show the signal strengths

if it understood GPS and could label the results with a positioon, even better.

If it could email off the result, perfect.

Bit like netstumbler for GSM with reporting.

or the monitor program from

http://www.nobbi.com/monitor/index_en.htm

Anyone know of anything?

Have you looked at WiFoFum?

The Radar mode is a neat hack, but there is a mini-netstumbler in there too.

Even though the link was not what the original poster was looking for, it was exactly what I was looking for, when I did a search on here for net stumbler, (mini stumbler won't work on my HTC TYTN) So Thanks for the Link.

mini stumbler doesn't like my Trinity or Alpine either.
